Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

What deals did you get?

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mails from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't already receive the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites or call the customer service number on your rewards card:

scoutmom-thanks for the tip on the orange rolls.

One more thing I noticed at HT tonight. The pillsbury crescent rolls, orange rolls and cinnamon rolls were on sale for $2. That I knew, I also had some 0.40/2 coupons, also good. But on the shelf tag it said if you spend $10 you get $4 off. So I picked up 5, used 2-0.40 mcs which doubled and got $4 off immediately. So 5 rolls for $4.40 plus tax, less then $1 per roll. It also included the cookie dough but it wasn't on sale.

I didn't get the wine yet, will pick that up when I go tomorrow. But I did get bacon, yummmmm! We love bacon and it is so expensive. I got 2 of the Smithfield (had a 1/2 zvr and a 1/2 mc) and 1 Kunzler (have a $1 coupon for that and you can only use one at a time). They ended up each being $2 a package.

floomamia,

Thank you, for that price I was going to try it.

Nakabi, there was a coupon on their facebook page for $1 off Wisk making it a good deal. I am not sure if it is still available. There was also one in the paper (it expires 2/24 but I am not sure which week it was in) for $1 off.

scoutmomof2 Yes Beringer's wine is really good. Its our favorite when eating out.

Is the wisk deal a good deal? I've never used that brand.

My Lowes Foods Friday e-mail includes a sale on Armour Meatballs: $2.50 - .55/1 coupon from 1/27 SS = $1.40.

I also received deals for Kraft parm cheese for $2.79, Lowes Foods pasta for .89 and the LF paper towels deal for $3.49 for 6 rolls.

I can identify with you on the laundry detergent; I've got about 30 bottles myself. All, Wisk and Arm and Hammer in my overstock. That's what my sisters want for Christmas next year so I'm stocking up for gifts. Also got them some of the purina cat food for their birthdays.

According to the News and Record, Harris Teeter potential buyers include Publix, Kroger and Ahold (which owns Giant, Martins and Stop & Shop).

Kroger???? Really??? They can't even keep there own stores open!!!

FYI - HT confirmed they are talking with JP Morgan now in a press release located on their website:
