Posted January 25, 2013

Coupons!

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

Harris Teeter milk deal: Don't miss the great milk deal at Harris Teeter on Saturday: $2.57 for a gallon, limit 2!

I believe we all get the same Saturday only deals, but double check that you got this deal on your Friday Harris Teeter e-Vic e-mail.

There is also a good deal for Kashi GoLean or Heat to Heart cereal for $1.97 - $2/2 coupon on Recyclebank.com if you have enough points = .97 each.

Did you get any other deals you are looking forward to buying?

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mails from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't already receive the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites or call the customer service number on your rewards card:

nakabi, I'll look forward to hearing what you think of the gnocchi if you try it, and how much the regular price of it is too. To be honest, the reason I make it myself is because I just can't bring myself to pay $4 or $5 for 1 pound of gnocchi, which is basically just two potatoes, one or two eggs, and a little flour.

jdouglas-I think butter, parsley, & lots of garlic could make cardboard taste not, could it not? lol...or I guess in my case, I'd substitute rosemary for the parsley lol...I might give it a try and I'll let you know how it is. It will be a whole lot easier than making homemade gnocchi for sure!

Annie's cookies are on sale for .89 at Lowes this week. There is a $1.00 off 2 in Coupons.com this week making the cookies free.

nakabi-I am not sure if the quilted northern tissue is a good deal or not. I will have to check out the package at the store to see if they are double rolls and see what the square footage is. I did find 2 catalinas for $1.50 off 12 rolls or more, but nothing from the paper. So just those Q's might make it a good deal for me.

Nakabi, I have not tried the nuovo gnocchi, but if you got a good deal, it is worth trying. A little butter, fresh parsley, and garlic will make the worst gnocchi taste wonderful! :)

rvpatel call and ask if they will re-send your e-mail. And then save the e-mail address in your contacts. That's what I had to do.
