Harris Teeter & Lowes Foods weekend specials: Pepsi 12-pack for $1.97!

Posted November 9, 2012

Coupons!

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mail from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't get the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites:

Harris Teeter website

Lowes Foods website

What deals did you get this week?

Here are the better Harris Teeter deals I received:

Pepsi: My Harris Teeter e-mail includes a Saturday only deal for Pepsi cans, 12-pack for only $1.97! That's a great deal if you are a Pepsi drinker!  There is a limit of 2 total per household.

Eggland's Best: I also received a deal for Eggland's Best dozen eggs valid through 11/13: $1.77 - .35/1 coupon from 9/30 SS = $1.07 (a very good price for these eggs!)

Honey Bunches of Oats: One more ok deal I received is the Honey Bunches of Oats for $1.97 valid through 11/13 - $1/2 coupon from 11/4 RP = $1.47 each (an ok deal but my buy price for cereal is $1 or less)

Xtra: Finally, I also received a good deal for Xtra detergent, 1.37 gallons for $3.97 valid through 11/13.

Here are the better Lowes Foods deals I received:

Lowes Foods cream cheese, 8 oz bar, .97 (very good price - think cheesecake during the holidays!)

Lowes Foods butter, 1 lb, $2.27 (my buy price is $2 or less for 1 lb of butter, so this is an ok price)

Don't forget the awesome Fresh Rewards deal this week for Dixie sugar, 4 lb for for $1.88 - .55 coupon from 11/4 SS = .78 (if they will double this coupon for you)

Faye, if you can hold off on your egg purchase until Tuesday, you will be able to see if anyone else is offering a better deal with the Wednesday ad previews. Funny how all of a sudden, no one had eggs on sale. If we hadn't had a free coupon, we would have been out as well. You'd think with all the holiday baking that folks are starting to do, they'd be giving them away! A girl can dream, right! ;)

jma47, I have to agree with you about freezing the cream cheese. I've tried a number of times, and never with a good result even for baking. Always had to throw it out. :(

Krogers has LOL's butter for $1.99 in their 10 for 10, also Stove Top stuffing .69 I think, plus lots of other good holiday deals.

isdenning, when I've frozen cream cheese it gets crumbly and the texture is bad and won't *cream*. I won't do it anymore.

Thanks, Faye. I'll make sure to do that.

You are so right, Nakabi! I just hope I can get to an HT before Tuesday.

Diane, I get an e-mail from Lowes Foods on Wednesday and one on Friday. I suggest calling Lowes Foods customer service on Monday to ask them to update your e-mail and add you to the e-mail list.

I apologize if I've asked this already, but does Lowes Foods send out an e-mail each week with specific specials for you (like HT does)? I'm registered on their website and can click on the link there for digital or printable coupons, but have never received anything via e-mail from them.

I had a Kroger MQ for $1 off a 12 pk of pepsi. This went great with the pepsi deal. I am pretty much a diet coke snob but I can't pass up a 12 pack of drinks for $1.

KROGER HAS 2/$3 .5 LITER COKE PRODUCTS ON SALE TOMORROW (SATURDAY) ONLY!!

Faye-The egg deal came just in time for you, right? I thought I remembered reading you post that you were almost out of eggs :)
