Harris Teeter & Lowes Foods weekend specials: Pepsi 12-pack for $1.97!

Published: 2012-11-09 10:17:00
Updated: 2012-11-09 10:17:00

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mail from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't get the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites:

Lowes Foods website

What deals did you get this week?

Here are the better Harris Teeter deals I received:

Pepsi: My Harris Teeter e-mail includes a Saturday only deal for Pepsi cans, 12-pack for only $1.97! That's a great deal if you are a Pepsi drinker!  There is a limit of 2 total per household.

Eggland's Best: I also received a deal for Eggland's Best dozen eggs valid through 11/13: $1.77 - .35/1 coupon from 9/30 SS = $1.07 (a very good price for these eggs!)

Honey Bunches of Oats: One more ok deal I received is the Honey Bunches of Oats for $1.97 valid through 11/13 - $1/2 coupon from 11/4 RP = $1.47 each (an ok deal but my buy price for cereal is $1 or less)

Xtra: Finally, I also received a good deal for Xtra detergent, 1.37 gallons for $3.97 valid through 11/13.

Here are the better Lowes Foods deals I received:

Lowes Foods cream cheese, 8 oz bar, .97 (very good price - think cheesecake during the holidays!)

Lowes Foods butter, 1 lb, $2.27 (my buy price is $2 or less for 1 lb of butter, so this is an ok price)

Don't forget the awesome Fresh Rewards deal this week for Dixie sugar, 4 lb for for $1.88 - .55 coupon from 11/4 SS = .78 (if they will double this coupon for you)

I got the pepsi, eggs and xtra detergent deal also. I also got the pop tart deal for Sunday, plus a bunch of stuff I probably won't use. Anyone know how the wine (Mirassou) for 5.97 a bottle it? I mainly get wine at Trader Joe's.

For Lowes I got the flour, sugar, cream cheese and butter.

Mirassou is great! I recommend the Pinot Noir

Thank you, I can get I think 4 bottle at 5.97.

Does anyone know if you can freeze cream cheese? and if so for how long?

lsdenning, yes you can freeze cream cheese. I do and use it for cheese cake with no problems. I have had some for 6 months in the freezer with no problems. Not sure how long it is good to freeze.

LF at kildare & 1010 has bags of Halloween candy fo $1.00. I had coupons for .55 one bag of any Hershey chocolate. Also got a boneless sirloin roast and used my $2 off coupon from FL so it was 2.40/lb. Not bad for a large, versatile piece of beef!

Faye-The egg deal came just in time for you, right? I thought I remembered reading you post that you were almost out of eggs :)

KROGER HAS 2/$3 .5 LITER COKE PRODUCTS ON SALE TOMORROW (SATURDAY) ONLY!!

I had a Kroger MQ for $1 off a 12 pk of pepsi. This went great with the pepsi deal. I am pretty much a diet coke snob but I can't pass up a 12 pack of drinks for $1.

I apologize if I've asked this already, but does Lowes Foods send out an e-mail each week with specific specials for you (like HT does)? I'm registered on their website and can click on the link there for digital or printable coupons, but have never received anything via e-mail from them.
