Smart Shopper: Good Deal

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

MILK DEAL!: One of the Harris Teeter deals this week is a gallon of milk for $2.97! That's a great deal these days. Both Kroger and Walgreens up their milk sale prices this week so this is the best deal at the main grocery and drug stores right now. The deals is a weekend only deal valid on Saturday and Sunday for most people.

Here are some other coupons and deals smart shoppers received this week. My thanks to everyone for sharing your deals in the comments section!

Sorrento Provolone cheese, 12 oz, $2.97 - $1 coupon from Sorrento Cheese website on any of their cheeses =  97 cents each! (www.Sorrento.com)

Brawney paper towels weekend only deal: Brawny Paper towel, 6-8 rolls,  $4.97-  $1 off 6 roll or larger coupon from their website as well = $2.97 (www.brawny.com)

Renuzit deal: For the renuzit offer of 77 cents (limit 2), 97 cents for the third, you can get a coupon from their website for $1/3, making 3 costing you 51 cents total. (www.renuzit.com)

Glad trash bags, $3.97 - $1/2 coupon from Smart Shopper coupons link above and $1/2 HT ZVR e-coupon

If you received any other good e-vic deals this week, please post them in the comments section below!

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mails from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't already receive the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites or call the customer service number on your rewards card:

Yes, it means any box with those counts! It's a great deal considering they're over $9 a box - ridiculous the price of garbage bags anymore (along with just about everything else though!).
I purchased the 40 count lavender scented kitchen bags :)

Which glad trash bags are on sale with the evic? I have it and it just shows a range of counts. Does that mean that all of them up to 80ct work???

If anyone else got the Purex 150 oz deal, they actually had the No Sort in stock so I was able to get two, use 2 $1.50 coupons, and the ZVR for $1.50/2 (any size) came off, so each bottle was $2.25!

    Dr D
    Thank You !
I knew I would get the correct answer here !!
NO you were not confusing ( I get confused without help sometimes ).
The HT price is good - I had planned to use my coupon on my next Kroger trip but I may save for another week.
I got several of the free gallons at Kroger thru the breakfast promo this month but sadly that promo has ended...

LOL I refreshed the page and boom there was the answer! Sorry!!

Does HT honor the Breakfast Project printable BOGO milk coupon? I am not too familiar with how they honor B1G1 free coupons.

ThomasG - Correct - HT won't take BOGO internet printable coupons. Hope my comment yesterday wasn't confusing. If I'd known HT was going to offer a great milk deal this weekend, and/or if we hadn't run out of milk on Thursday, I might have saved my BOGO coupon to use at Walgreens or CVS another time, and just bought HT's milk this weekend. Actually, if the Use By date is far enough in advance, I might get one of HT's as well.

HT will NOT take BOGO printed/internet coupons such as the BOGO milk one correct ??
I TRULY appreciate your help !!
Sorry if it seems that I ask the same questions over & over - I have heard two different answers to this particular question ( BOGO coupons ) this week .
    Thank You for helping

Faye, there is also a $1/1 6-8 roll coupon on their website for Brawny towels :)
www.brawny.comI really need milk this morning for baking bread and I don't want to go out in this rain...but I guess I have no choice LOL I'll just waddle and quack my way through it :) Besides, then I can get my Brawny and milk deals and be done.

FYI - on many of the Brawy packages at the HT in Cary on Tryon and Walnut, there were $1 off coupons. One of the employees told me about them and suggested I take a couple to use with the e-vic deal starting tomorrow! LOL It was so funny that the employee was telling me to take the peelies off the product to use for a good sale. So if you plan to buy those this weekend, look for the ones with the big blue $1 off peelie on them.
