Smart Shopper: Good Deal

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mails from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't already receive the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites or call the customer service number on your rewards card:

Busyb97, the answer is yes, as long as it says manufacturer coupon you're good. You may have to explain it to the cashier as not all of them know.

Question to you coupon experts. I have a cash register coupon given to me at Food Lion for SCOTT Tissue. The coupon says "Manufacturer CPN, Expires 7/6/14, Do not double." Then on the far side of the coupon is the "Redeemable at Food Lion with your MVP Card".

Can I use these coupons at OTHER retailers? Like HT or Lowes? or even Walmart? I'm thinking , yes, since it says "manufacturer cpn" and not "store coupon". But wanted to check!

Weekend Offers: 50 oz Gain detergent, $3.97; 8 roll Scott bath tissue, $3.97. Limit 2 for each

Other offers: 24 oz HT sour cream, $1.67; 16.5-19.5 oz Betty Crocker Cookie Mix or Premium Brownies, $1.47; 28 oz. 8 ct. Al Fresco chicken burgers, $6.97; 1 oz. McCormick vanilla, $.97; 12.6 oz. L'Oreal Advanced shampoo or conditioner, $2.97; 16-16.5 oz Nestle Ready to Bake cookies, $1.77. Limit 2 on all of these offers.

Not sure I'll be making a trip to HT for any of these. I went yesterday and got everything on my list, so.... The cookies are tempting me, but I'm trying to resist. :-)
