Harris Teeter & Lowes Foods weekend specials - change to the HT weekend deals!

Posted July 5, 2013

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

The big news this week is that the normal deals that are good at Harris Teeter on ONLY  Saturday or ONLY Sunday are now valid all weekend! That's a big improvement! For those of us who do not have a Harris Teeter every 2 miles and cannot make a trip on Saturday AND on Sunday to get the deals, it is very helpful to be able to get the weekend deals all on one day.

What deals did you get this week?

Here are the Harris Teeter deals I received:

Weekend deal (valid Saturday and Sunday): All Liquid Detergent, $2.97, limit 2 - .75/1 coupon from 6/2 RP = $1.47 (good deal)

Weekend deal (valid Saturday and Sunday):Blue Diamond almonds, 6 oz, $1.77, limit 2

Deals valid Friday – Tuesday:

Cottonelle bath tissue, 9 roll, $5.97, limit 2

Grape tomatoes, 1 pint, $1.77, limit 2

Hefty foam plates, 24 or 50 count, .97, limit 2 - $1/2 printable coupon = .47 each

Special K cereal, 14 – 18 oz, $1.97, limit 2 - .70/1 coupon from Smart Shopper coupons link above for the multi-grain variety (if it is included) AND there is a $1/2 HT ZVR e-coupon available today

Land O Frost premium sausages, $2.97, limit 2 - $1 coupon from 6/23 RP = $1.97

Dial bar soap, 3 bar, $1.97, limit 2 - $1/2 coupon from 6/16 RP

Chef prepared gourmet beef or turkey patty, 10 – 10.5 oz, $3.97, limit 2

Depends or Poise, various, $9.97, limit 2

Balance bars, .77 - $1/2 printable coupon (I didn't get this deal but others did so I included the link)

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mails from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't already receive the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites or call the customer service number on your rewards card:

if it's for triples, do you think they do do $1 and less or just 98 cents?

Hope they go with $1 like they did with the $2 for SDs

I heard it was triples next week

My specials are still Sat only and Sunday only - would love to have all weekend to go for the specials

Got 2 All detergent, 2 Special K Multigrain (is included in the special), 2 Barilla microwave meals and 1 Liberte yogurt. OOP $5.62, counting a $.55 Savingstar for the yogurt. Neither of my ZVRs (cereal and yogurt) worked, so CS refunded.

Glad I only paid $.97 each for the Barilla microwave meals - only enough for 1 person and rather bland.

The Stonehenge H-T has 8" old fashioned fruit pies (apple, blueberry or cherry) for only $1.50 each, despite their flyer price of BOGO at $6.99. Part of their Wounded Warrior Project. We're on our third pie. Tasty crust, generous filling. Don't know what other H-Ts are doing.

Also, if your cats and/or birds like Wheat Grass, this H-T sells fresh organic wheat grass from Sunny Creek Farms in Tryon, NC on sale $2.50 for 4 oz tub. Usually $2.99. We pull some blades and snip pieces onto cats' food. They love it and don't upchuck. Better price and quality than pet store grass.

Can someone post the Lowes specials? I did not receive the email today. Thanks.

I wonder if it's weekend special only in the Triangle market. I'm in the Wilmington market and my email still has Saturday only for the All and Blue Diamond specials. Glad I rechecked my email!

Do we know if this is a permanent change to weekend specials versus Sat or Sun specials? That would really be great it is permanent at least until they open the Clayton store.

When I look at my email for harris teeter it says the detergent is $2.97....but when I look at it on the harris teeter app on my phone it has the price listed at $ you think they will honor they $1.87 price ?
