The reason why the olive oil didn't ring up evic price is because only the extra virgin is e-vic special. I was at HT in Wilson this morning and picture up 2 bottles the cashier bagging my groceries said only the extra virgin was on special. Of course I had the wrong ones and was very nice and went and got me the correct ones.
Also, I got the Gold fish and my .50cent coupon did not double.

Thanks for the deals and info, watchhillgirl, readingtou, New2couponing! We really like the Rice Works chips so I need to see if I have any more of those coupons.

I just went to HT and bought the olive oil. I noticed my bill was a little high, but attributed it to shopping while hungry! When I got home I noticed that the olive oil didn't come off at the evic price. I call HT and the manager said he just had to fix one at the register. Told me to just come back sometime with the receipt and they would refund my money. They are so nice!

Recently got a coupon from the machine that prints the Catalina's for $2 off milk when you buy 3 Kelloggs cereals. Think I'll get some raisin bran and milk.

Not sure if this deal has been posted yet:

Rice Work Chips are $1.19 and with the recent printable $1 coupon this makes them only .19 cents. On the shelf they are listed at $2.99 but will ring up at $1.19. They are also advertised at this price on the express lane on-line shopping.

Thanks for the info, Nanee Lion, and for saving me a trip out. I'm not sure how they figure 16.9x2 = 25.9? Sounds like a rip off to me. If I do find a coupon, I'll just wait until tomorrow to get the milk deal too.

They have the 16.9 bottles of oil. Just left HT in Clayton at 4:30. I asked about substitutes because at first I did not see it on the self and was told I could get one 25.9 oz. to equal 2 of the 16.9 bottles. JDoughlas13, they may tell you something different but I talked to Curtis.

  • jdouglas13 Sep 5, 2014

Wow - I wasn't going out today, but if Clayton HT is selling the 25.9 oz EVOO for the 16.9 deal price, I may have to run up there! Hopefully I can get the coupons.

Just a heads-up for allergy/asthma folks who are sensitive to certain fragrances, the Tide Oxi-Clean has a really strong scent that was an instant asthma attack for me. I sent Tide an email about it, and they sent me a coupon for a free 100 oz bottle of Tide detergent to make up for it.

Clayton HT got there around 8;00 saw couple of shoppers with 4 bottles of olive oil so headed for it. They were already out of the 16.9 bottles. Another shopper was looking too. We both went up front to ask about the oil, HT let us have the 25.9 as a subsitute for the 16.9. Only got two and had 2 of the $1.00 off coupons so paid 1.97 apiece great customer service always.
