Posted July 17, 2015

Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter has some special deals for their e-Vic members starting on Friday of each week! Check your Friday e-mail from Harris Teeter to see the deals you received and then share them here.

Some of these deals are valid from Friday through Tuesday. Some of the deals are only valid during the weekend. Check your e-mail for the details each week. We do not all get the same deals and you can only redeem the deals you receive in your e-mail. Most of us in the Raleigh area will receive the same weekend deals, though.

What deals did you get?

Here are the deals I received:

Some shoppers received a great deal on Community coffee (I did not), Here are the details that Kw00634 posted on the blog:

"The Community Coffee K-Cups is a great deal. First, the cost is $4.97 limit 4. Then, you can use the $4.00 off 2 coupons. Then, make sure you sign up for $4.05 off three at Saving Star. That means you get 4 boxes for just under $8.00 ... $2.00 each. That works or me."

quemaster - the offer was probably available to load recently but all the offers were loaded that they had avaialable. The offer is still valid to purchase but no longer available to load. Sorry you didn't get it.

kw00634 - that's a great idea to donate the coffee. It's really nice of you.

If you guys got the Community Coffee deal, and you don't drink their coffee, consider getting it anyway and donating the coffee to a non-profit organization. I don't drink that much coffee, but I do donate to two (sometimes three) non-profits during the year by supplying coffee to their office workers. Just check with them first. They work hard for the good of all ... least I can do is keep them going with a cup of Joe.

HELP! I just went under Saving Star and could not find the Community Coffee deal. Are the offers different for everyone or am I missing something?

QUEMASTER - Glad to help. You guys give me such great ideas and deals .... glad to pay it forward.

Kw00634 - thanks for posting your coffee deal. I did not get the Community coffee in my e--vics, but it is a great deal for coffee.

For those who also did not get it, Vicki sent me an e-mail with the following Community coffee scenario from Walmart making them a great deal:

    Deal on Community Coffee:
    WalMart price per bag: $5.47
    Bought 3
Used 2 coupons from last week's paper: Buy 2, Save $4 and Buy 1, Save $1.50
Entered receipt in Savings Star for an addition $4.05 back on 3

    Net price per bag: $2.29!!!

quemaster - I am posting the offers I got now. Will be up soon. Last week I was on vacation, which is why they were not posted.

ctya - I agree.... There is not one Friday e-vic deal I will be getting this week.

KW00634, Thanks so much for the coupon note! OMG! I had totally missed that. Hadn't gotten those coupons in the book yet (or at least my wife hadn't, she does all that and is a saint for doing it). Would have totally missed it. Sharing coupons with my daughter, too! HUGE savings!

Faye, I miss you posting you deals! We often had the same items so it was helpful. Kcups are on my list. Community Coffee kcups. 4.97 for 12. The rest is not exciting. Maybe some sour cream for .99.

    Not very exciting this week.
