Posted September 10, 2014

Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter has so many fantastic deals this week!  You'll find a bunch of freebies including Old El Paso taco shells, Progresso Recipe Starters, Biscquick, Pillsbury cookie dough, Hamburger Helper, Tetley tea, Kashi Hummus Crisps, Touch of Gray and more! There are also great deals on peaches, cantaloupe, chicken leg quarters, tofu, Sabra Hummus, Bird's Eye, various soups, Febreeze and many others!  Please share any other deals you find.

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. You can use a coupon on each item in a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

The official Harris Teeter Coupon Policy can be found on their website.

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons (also known as ZVR coupons) with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail. Sign up for e-Vic digital coupons on their website. You can also add the e-coupons to your Vic card through your account at HarrisTeeter.com. Remember that not everyone gets the same ZVR coupons. If I have a ZVR digital coupon listed below, it does not mean that you have it available in your digital coupons.

The BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) sale prices listed below are the sale prices.

These deals are valid September 10 – September 16, 2014.

Has anyone purchased the meal deal to see what the total price will be? Is it worth it?

  • jesus4grace73 Sep 11, 2014

Thanks so much for letting us know about the 10.00 coupon. I receive the N & O only on the weekends. I just stopped by the N & O for a paper!

  • kpw Sep 11, 2014

Busels...me, too, thanks to your advice. Thanks so much!

  • SomewhereLeftOfRTP Sep 10, 2014

Well, that must explain why we didn't get a HT flyer in the paper today. First they close our favorite store, then they blow us off for the $10 coupon. What did we do to make them hate us?

  • busels2 Sep 10, 2014

KPW: I freeze hummus all the time. When you want it, thaw it overnight in the refrigerator, then just stir it well to regain consistency. I intend to load up on the Sabra tomorrow!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Sep 10, 2014

sewhunt01 - I have not had any issues with printables at the HT locations I shop including various Cary, Garner and Clayton locations. You may want to contact HT customer service. Sounds like something may be wrong with their scanners.

  • sewhunt01 Sep 10, 2014

Has anyone been having problems with using printable coupons at HT? The store on Hillsborough Rd in Durham, the coupons will not scan unless it has the bar code(like on the product) also on the coupon. I can use the printables at Walmart but not this HT.

  • hydecoac1965 Sep 10, 2014

Did not get the El Paso deal either. But the HB Meat was supposed to be on sale for $4.59, cash register scanned at the regular prize for 6.59. When I went back in the store gave me the HB Meat free since it was a scan error. So I did not complain about the deal.
If you are closer to the OBX the same coupon is in the Coastland Times paper for Tuesday.

  • kpw Sep 10, 2014

Has anyone had any experience freezing hummus?

  • corbin04 Sep 10, 2014

I didnt know abt the $10 off until now...darn but i had a good haul. Didnt expect to hit 20 coupon limit! Spent $83, saved $128. So still pretty happy but i didnt see the $1.50 off ground beef come off, i bought 4 old elpaso products. Anyone else do this deal yet?
