Posted June 4, 2014

Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter has some very good deals starting Wednesday, 6/4 including Pictsweet veggies, Mahatma Rice, HT dough balls, Uncle Ben's Rice, HT tortillas, cucumbers, Oscar Mayer hot dogs, Kozy Shack pudding, Pepperidge Farm garlic bread, Barilla pasta meals (FREE!), Horizon mac & cheese (FREE!), Kellogg's Mini Wheats, Coke, Luvs and more! Please share any other deals you find!

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. You can use a coupon on each item in a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

The official Harris Teeter Coupon Policy can be found on their website.

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons (also known as ZVR coupons) with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail. Sign up for e-Vic digital coupons on their website. You can also add the e-coupons to your Vic card through your account at HarrisTeeter.com. Remember that not everyone gets the same ZVR coupons. If I have a ZVR digital coupon listed below, it does not mean that you have it available in your digital coupons.

These deals are valid June 4 – June 10.

New Promotion: Buy 30 participating items in the ad in a single transaction and save an additional $5 instantly at checkout. Each item is $1 and you can mix and match. It just started doing this like a month ago and I can not print any coupons at all that are associated with coupons.com

UNCfan - I also just heard the news about Zaver by Google shutting down. They have not offered a shut down date yet, but I did e-mail my HT corporate communications contact to ask her if they had a time frame for shut down and whether they were going to replace the ZVR coupons with another option. She responded that they also just found out about it and they are looking at options now.

Here is the info on the Zavers shut down:

    http://recode.net/2014/06/02/google-will-kill-off-its-digital-coupon-business-zavers/

Kroger does not use Zavers as their digital coupon platform. Their digital platform is from You Technology, which Kroger recently bought out. My guess is that HT will begin using that same platform at some time after the Zavers coupon portal shuts down. But, I have no inside info on that and it is only a guess.

Here is the info on the Kroger digital coupon platform:

What? I hope they do have another platform in line once that shuts down. That zvr and coupon use makes for some great shopping trips....

Zavers is shutting down so that may have something to do with it. I'm really hoping HT finds a new platform to use though - I love ZVRs! Here is an article about it http://couponsinthenews.com/2014/06/04/google-kills-digital-coupons-at-harris-teeter-price-chopper-bi-lo-raleys-ap-and-more/

Sorry for all my posts today!

"Tropicana orange juice, 48 – 59 oz, various, $3.00 - .50/1 Topr50 Raspberry coupon from Smart Shopper coupons link recently, $1 coupon for Farmstand variety possibly in 6/8 SS"
Also a .50/1 ZVR for the Trop50 Raspberry and I have 2 catalinas for $1.50 off Farmstand, not sure if anyone else got those.

New ZVR for Sargento Tastings Cheese! $1/2 combined with paper coupon that is .75/2 makes 2 cheeses $3.50. Since my paper coupon doesn't expire until 6/21 and the ZVR is good until 7/31 I think I will hold off on buying it now and hope a super doubles happens before they expire!

Also, not sure if this is somewhere else on the blog but Tresemme is on sale for $3.99 this week which makes it free!
-ZVR for $2/1 Tresemme product combined with $2/1 Tresemme treatment printable (I got it here http://www.passionforsavings.com/print-coupons/ but I'm sure it's other places too!)
-another ZVR for $2/1 Tresemme shampoo or conditioner and $2/1 from the 5/18 RP

Last question, does anyone know how to print a list of your ZVRs?

I didn't but if it happens again I think will. The manager there is great, I just think me and my coworker are literally the only people to ever use coupons at that store (Carrboro, NC)! Every time I had the cashier a coupon they study it like it's an alien from outer space! haha

For those that picked up the HT evic for Yoplait, it is ringing up at $.50 instead of $.37. Cashier scanned my yogurt last and I noticed, so she corrected it right there.

  • Momoffi Jun 4, 2014

Is $1 a good price for the HT trash bags?

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Jun 4, 2014

kgiduz - I think they were wrong and you should call Harris Teeter customer service tomorrow. Did you ask to speak with the manager and show him/her the ad?
