Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. You can use a coupon on each item in a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

The official Harris Teeter Coupon Policy can be found on their website.

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons (also known as ZVR coupons) with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail. Sign up for e-Vic digital coupons on their website. You can also add the e-coupons to your Vic card through your account at HarrisTeeter.com. Remember that not everyone gets the same ZVR coupons. If I have a ZVR digital coupon listed below, it does not mean that you have it available in your digital coupons.

I have found that Kroger, HT and Lowes do not have the sales signs up especially on the first day. I also have found that they often leave them up longer than they are supposed to leave them up, too. I have been told by several of the stores that they either have someone not affiliated with the stores handling the price changes or they only have one person who does it. One store even told me that the person was sick and no body else knew how to do it!!! I couldn't believe that one. I told the manager that they should definitely start cross training as soon as that person came back to work!!!

That was hilarious! I love autocorrect! I have never seen orcas on sale at HT. Thank you for the hearty laugh, timeandchance9311!!

  • timeandchance9311 May 28, 2014

Orcas is supposed to read it was

  • timeandchance9311 May 28, 2014

That happened to me a while back. Express was showing bogo for hellmanns but the tags weren't up . The manager said that orcas indeed suppose to be in sale since there was a PC (price change) by the number. He refunded me the difference. HTH

  • luvstoQ May 28, 2014

I didn't try to purchase the Hellmans after not seeing the tags still there, or it being listed in the flyer. Seems they would have left the tags on the shelf, but I didn't ask.....

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper May 28, 2014

luvstoQ - that's strange. The online express lane is showing on sale like it did last week when it was bogo. I will remove it from the list. Sorry about any confusion. When I go tomorrow morning, I will see what's up at my store. What did it ring at?

  • luvstoQ May 28, 2014

Hellman's mayo at the HT I shopped at today was not BOGO!!

Also, UNCFAN7, anytime I can find the Weight Watcher's Smart Ones for less than $2 is a good price for me. I eat them often. But, the 5/$10 at HT is only 'one' per transaction - I found that out today after I had purchased 10 in one transaction and the reduced price was only on 5 of them. My $3 zvr 'did' come off though, and they don't take that off even though I immediately returned 5 of mine!!

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper May 28, 2014

Thanks Askwiggy! I should have it confirmed by tomorrow, but based on what others are posting, including you, looks like we are a go! Thanks again!

  • askwiggy May 28, 2014

The manager at Carthage ht told me super doubles next week!

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper May 28, 2014

RFB - thank you for the feedback on the cheese. I will be going to HT tomorrow so I will let you know which one I get.

UNCfan - the Annie's coupon will double when scanned if your store allows it. And thanks for the Mueller's head up - I changed it's chilly location! lol $1.70 is a decent price for these since they are regularly $2.99. If you went out to a restaurant for lunch, you would certainly pay more. My goal when I eat lunch at home is about $1 per lunch including drink.
