Barbiedoll, pasta carbonara is so good. It is creamy, cheesy, salty and yummy. I like to saute or grill the asparagus, but as a time saver, you could cut them into 1 1/2 inch pieces and drop them in the pasta water while you are cooking the pasta. Don't forget to add a little garlic.

If you'd like more info on asparagus, just give me a shout! :)

JDouglas13 - I've never had pasta carbonara but it sounds delicious. I've only had asparagus one time that I can remember.

Faye will you be posting the new RC info? I didn't get to read it on a FB post and now I can't find it.

Woohoo! Yay for cheap HT pasta which, by the way, is every bit as good as Barilla!

To the pasta, add half the eggs and half the bacon from the meal deal, a splash of the half & half, the asparagus for $1.77, and some reggiano parm (on sale again YAYAYAYAY), and you've got a delicious pasta carbonara for dinner for cheap.
