Harris Teeter deals 12/31: Pork roast, Smithfield bacon, Old Orchard juice & more!

Posted December 31, 2014

Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter has some very good deals starting Wednesday, 12/31 on Smithfield bacon, pork roast, Rainbow trout, Barber chicken, blackeye peas, sour cream, Superpretzel, Betty Crocker boxed potatoes, Old Orchard juice, black beans, Community coffee, Pepsi & more!  There is also a Super Doubles rumor.....

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. You can use a coupon on each item in a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!). The BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) sale prices listed below are the sale prices.

The official Harris Teeter Coupon Policy can be found on their website.

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

Harris Teeter digital e-coupons: The ZVR (Zaver) digital coupon program is no longer in use as of 11/30/14.  There will be no digital coupons available until January 14, 2015.  At that time a new digital coupon policy will begin.  You will be able to load up to 20 coupons at a time. We are still waiting to hear from Harris Teeter corporate whether shoppers will be able to use a digital and a manufacturer's coupon on the same product.

These deals are valid December 30 – January 6, 2015.

Super Doubles Rumor: I have heard from a couple local sources that Harris Teeter will be offering Super Doubles starting 1/7/15. This is not confirmed. Once I have more details (by Friday), I’ll post the confirmation. Can’t hurt to start getting your coupons in order, though!

$10 off $50 coupon: There's a super $10 off $50 coupon in the Harris Teeter ad found in the N&O today! The coupon is valid until January 6, 2015.  Most stores require that the $50 minimum is met after all other coupons and discounts have been tendered.  You will probably not find this coupon in the ads in the stores. They are usually only available in the papers that are delivered or those you buy at the store.

Meal Deal: Buy All Five Items For $6.99:

One 9.6 - 12 oz. Johnsonville Breakfast Sausage
One 28 - 32 oz. Hungry Jack Pancake Mix

Interesting timing of a potential SD sale, with the digital coupons starting back 1/15/14, which would be a day after SD ends. Hope there will be some good deals regardless!!

Amomoftwo - That is a good deal! $1.99/lb is the regular everyday price at the HT meat counter at all area HT stores. Has been for a couple years now, even though they have the "sale" sign out and the regular price is $2.99/lb. That is my go-to place if it is not on sale anywhere. I'll be bummed if they ever go back to the regular price. Looking forward to that Garner Aldi opening so I can stock up when it is is $1.79/lb there. Glad you had a yummy dinner!

North Hills HT has fresh boneless chicken breast on sale for $1.99 only at the meat counter. They are huge and delicious.....We had them for dinner!

Don't miss the $10 off $50 coupon found in the HT ads in the Wednesday paper!

Jdouglas - Thanks for the Thomas' info. Just changed the list. We used to eat trout a lot when I lived in Colorado. I haven't had it in years though.

P.S. The Thomas' coupon promo has ended.

I had to read the Rainbow trout twice. That one was a surprise! It brought to mind my Mom's "special tuna" aka smoked chubbs from when I was a kid.

If the Boursin cheese on sale is the one that is like the Alouette spread, the garlic and herb one is yummy in a variety of things from eggs to pasta to a filling ingredient in stuffed chicken.

Funny you should mention SD, Faye. My SD radar suddenly started blaring in my head this afternoon, pretty much out of the blue, so fingers crossed!
