Posted December 26, 2013

Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter has some good deals starting Friday, 12/27 including Smithfield bacon, ground beef, Palermo's pizza, Mueller's pasta, canned beans, Edy's ice cream, Heluva Good Dip and more!  This is a 5-day sale and the ad is very small, but there are some good buys!

Please share any other great buys that you find!

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. The policy has recently changed and now states that you can only use two coupons on a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

Click HERE for the official Harris Teeter Coupon Policy.

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons (also known as ZVR coupons) with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail. Click HERE to sign up for e-Vic digital coupons. You can also add the e-coupons to your Vic card through your account at HarrisTeeter.com. Remember that not everyone gets the same ZVR coupons. If I have a ZVR digital coupon listed below, it does not mean that you have it available in your digital coupons.

I often have chuck or sirloin tip roasts ground for me (or do it myself). It's a very good price, but ground "beef" could be anything ground and personally, it makes me a little uneasy. I like it better if they call it ground chuck, or sirloin, or round -- something more specific. But, I may take a look at it and see.

I don't like it much leaner than 80% because it gets too dry, but that is just my own preference.

Ground beef price is limited to 4 packages.

meganparks, that's a good price for 80% ground beef. The price goes up much more as you get leaner meat like 93%.

I know some readers on here grind their own or buy a leaner roast and have it ground at the store if you don't want that much fat. Can any of your grinder weigh in on this? :-)

Faye- is that a "stock up" price for ground beef? Thank you!!
