Just an FYI - my Saving Star has a $1 back on 1 Bertolli pasta sauce 15 or 24 oz.

MTMKJR - I am glad to hear the gas promo is in your area too....It's good that we can save on gas while we are getting good grocery deals as well :)

  • mtmkjr Nov 18, 2015

Since August of 2014 HT has been running a gas card promo for the stores in the Cary area near the new Publix. The stores I shop at, High House/Hwy 55 and Stone Creek are included.
Buy $50 groceries get 10 points which = $10 off wyb a $50 gas card.
The program runs 3 months at a time... initially it was to be just 3 months, but they have kept extending it, and now it's well over a year later.
They also sent out $10/$50 mailers every month.
Because of the combined promos, I've abandoned all other grocery stores and shop exclusively at HT in order to take advantage, and have one $50 shop per week.
    I think I've probably earned about 50 gas card - $500 savings.
I have no idea how long this will last, but I'm certainly benefiting from it!

If you like siggi's yogurt products, they're on sale this week 4/$5 and mambosprouts has a q for $1 off 1. Good deal in my book!

  • readingtou Nov 18, 2015

I have a .50 evic coupon for Tabasco and $1.00 off 2 Uncle Ben's flavored grains that there was a bogo coupon for recently.

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Nov 18, 2015

Pepper2 looks like the gas card promo may be regional. No mention of it anywhere for the Triangle. I'll ask corporate and let you know. Thanks!

  • Pepper2 Nov 18, 2015

Jdouglas - I could not find it online....Maybe it is only in the triad area? Look on an HT receipt just above your evic offers and it should say 'gas points earned'....I hope it is not just regional because it is a good deal........Maybe Faye knows!

  • jdouglas13 Nov 18, 2015

I don't recall HT ever having a gas card promo, but maybe it never crossed my radar before. It would be great if Sheetz is an option.

I was looking at the ad online yesterday, and was very excited to see that they had Italian parsley on sale. I know, I get geeked out about the weird stuff. I even had a dream about the Italian parsley that the vultures had cleared the shelves and the only one left was a tiny little bunch, but it had roots so I could plant it in the garden. LOL

Lots of good prices this week! I just need a good $10/$50 competitors coupon. ;)

  • Pepper2 Nov 18, 2015

Speaking of gas.....when I was in HT yesterday...the cashier told me the new 'gas card' promo starts today. I was in a hurry and did not get all the details...but she did say they will be redeemable at more places this time. Sounds like a good deal ($50 card for $40).....and.... with all the holiday meal prep ahead it should not take long to qualify for one.

If my car thinks it need more food than gas - it is going on a diet. Happy Wednesday.
