Lowe's foods ad states they will honor any advertised grocery store turkey price.

  • watchhillgirl Nov 11, 2015

just out of curiosity...if I took my food lion ad, and took it to walmart or Harris teeter would either honor the .37 per lb on the turkey if I spent $35.00? I don't shop much at Food lion anymore..

  • jdouglas13 Nov 11, 2015

    JTLNSW, you're very welcome. :)

  • jdouglas13 Nov 11, 2015

Nanee Lion, I have not yet used the coupons from the box, but I thinks it's a 'your mileage may vary" type of thing whether they double or not depending on the store, the cashier, whether you are jumping on one foot, etc.

  • jtlnsw Nov 11, 2015

    JDouglas

Thanks for the input! And the link! I ran out thinking I had an extra pack of butter in the freezer (oh you should've seen my face).
I'm using a couple of coupons from the box and some printable so I should make out good.

  • Nanee Lion Nov 11, 2015

jdouglas13, have you used the box coupons, Do they double? Was wondering since they state they do not double. Thanks,

  • jdouglas13 Nov 11, 2015

JTLNSW, personally I'd buy the Challenge butter for that price. I really like it as well. It's a great quality butter. There were some printable coupons for Challenge lately - go here:

    www.thanksgivingtips.com/sweepstakes/

Also, take a look at your old Challenge box before you toss it, because there are coupons printed on the inside of the box for both butter and cream cheese.

  • jdouglas13 Nov 11, 2015

Raesmom, I've used HT sugar and thought it was fine, as well as Crystal Sugar HT carries for $1.77 when the vultures had cleared the shelves of every bag of sugar in the Clayton store. I wouldn't hesitate to use either, but would go with HT or Domino for baking. I really don't like Dixie Crystals sugars at all.

  • jtlnsw Nov 11, 2015

    Hi All :D

Is $1.90 a bad price to grab Challenge Butter? I've come to love that brand (the cream cheese too).

  • miacarre Nov 11, 2015

    Simply shredded hashbrown B1G1 for 2.65, .55/1 coupons from RP 11/11 = .22 cents
