Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter has some great deals starting Wednesday, 10/29 including Cheerios (FREE!), Lucky Charms (FREE!), Mueller's pasta (FREE!), Colgate (FREE!), Smithfield bacon, Perdue Short Cuts, Tuttorosso canned tomatoes, Tropicana Farmstand juice, Luden's cough drops, & more!

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. You can use a coupon on each item in a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

The official Harris Teeter Coupon Policy can be found on their website.

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

ZVR digital e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the Harris Teeter ZVR digital e-Vic coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons (also known as ZVR coupons) with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail. Sign up for e-Vic digital coupons on their website. You can also add the e-coupons to your Vic card through your account at HarrisTeeter.com. Remember that not everyone gets the same ZVR coupons. If I have a ZVR digital coupon listed below, it does not mean that you have it available in your digital coupons.

ZVR update: The ZVR digital coupon program will be shutting down. The last day to load coupons is 11/20/14.  The last day to use ZVR coupons is 11/30/14.  There will be no digital coupons available until January 14, 2015.  At that time a new digital coupon policy will begin.  You will be able to load up to 20 coupons at a time. We are still waiting to hear from Harris Teeter corporate whether shoppers will be able to use a digital and a manufacturer's coupon on the same product.

The BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) sale prices listed below are the sale prices.

Flu Shot Promo for $5 in groceries: Get a flu shot at Harris Teeter Pharmacy and get $5 in free groceries. See Pharmacist for details. Offer valid 8/1/2014 through 12/31/2014. Coupons expire 1/7/2015.

These deals are valid October 29 – November 4, 2014.

The gas card deal is in its final week. It started in August, and ends 11/4. Points are good for an additional 2 weeks I believe.
It only works in certain stores. It works at most of the Cary stores, but not the Apex stores. I'm not sure where else it works. It's related to the opening of the new Publix store.
This has worked fabulously for me, because most of the time it worked before coupons, although it wasn't advertised that way. I've accumulated 140 points, which translates to $140 in free gas!
Im completely spoiled... 2 sets of 4 10/$50 coupons from LF, one set of 4 from HT and now the $10/$50 gas card from Publix. Love the competition!

Just a note...I don't know how long this will be going on, but definitely a good deal. At Harris Teeter, if you spend $50 in one transaction, you can purchase a gas gift card for 20% off. They had a $50 Shell card or $50 BP card for $40. It is rung up as a second transaction, scanning your VIC card, and the $10 comes right off! That's like saving $0.60 a gallon (based on the current prices)!!

Definitely going to be taking advantage as long as it's going on. (I didn't see a date yet).

I used 2 of the Carnation coupons from the 9/14 RP today. Some people did not get it?

  • kimmcn Oct 30, 2014

That is odd Faye. The coupon I have is next to a .50/2 Libby's pure 100% pumpkin coupon.

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Oct 30, 2014

kimmcn - how odd that I did not get the Carnation coupon and it is not in the WRAL coupon database either. BUT - there should be a .55/2 Carnation coupon in the Sunday Smartsource insert!

  • kimmcn Oct 30, 2014

The carnation evaporated milk coupon was in my 9/14 RP.

  • remer54 Oct 30, 2014

When did you get the carnation coupon?

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Oct 30, 2014

bjluckeey sorry - typo on my part. The price was $2 last week and I copied and pasted the deal from my list last week but forgot to change the end price.

  • bjluckeey Oct 30, 2014

    Marie Callender’s mini dessert pies, $2.50 -.75/1 coupon from 9/21 SS (expires 11/2) = .50? $.75 doubled = 1.50 off $2.50 - 1.50 = $1.00. How do you get .50? Is this price with a digital coupon?

  • taka Oct 29, 2014

The carnation coupon came in the N&O, and the Herald-Sun. I thought it was a great coupon, because they usually have .55/2.
