these will be some nice deals with P&G with the $10 HT card. Is the amount we have to purchase based on the prices before coupons or after? Thanks so much!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 3, 2013

triplettk - Sure - I'll try to remember to do that next time.

  • triplettk Oct 2, 2013

Is there any way you could make your updates in bold or another font color? It would save a lot of time for people who have already looked at the list once to be able to quickly see the updates (especially during a super doubles event when the list is really long and gets multiple updates).

How much is HT charging for their flu shots? (For those of us who have to pay out-of-pocket.) Thanks!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 2, 2013

Just updated the deals above with a number of super unadvertised freebies and deals!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 2, 2013

gmjaime - the ad confirms the $10 in free groceries when you get a flu shot. The info is on the back page of the ad today.

Beach2011, Here are my normal buy prices for the items in the meal deal this week:

    OJ, 59 - 64 oz, no more than $2

English muffins, no more than $1.40 when on sale BOGO

Eggs, 1 dozen, $1.00 or less

Waffles, no more than $1.50 (but usually $1 or less with sale and coupon)

Sausages, no more than $2 (we buy vegetarian breakfast sausage)

    Total = $7.40

Even after the .35/1 Egglands Best coupon from 9/15 SS, you are still paying $9.29 for the HT meal deal.

If you get 2 meals out of it, you are paying $4.64 per meal - a decent price for dinner.

I have found that most of the meal deals are an ok price but not amazing. You can usually piece together your own meal deal for less buying when the items are a good price.

Hey the meal deal going on a HT now is GREAT. check it out on their web site. I saved about $12 last night! Great dinner - breakfast!

  • ssgspoon Oct 2, 2013

I spoke to a manager last weekend and the flu shot is a $10 coupon for each.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 1, 2013

I think I saw somewhere that it is a $10 GC with flu shot, gmjaime. I will call the pharmacy tomorrow to ask.

  • gmjaime Oct 1, 2013

I heard today that HT is offering a gift card when you get flu shot from them. I don't see anything about it on their website and have't sen it in any ads. Has anyone else heard this? They did do it last year.
