If you're buying the Honeysuckle white ground turkey ($7.97 for a 4 lb bag), don't forget to use the .55/1 printable that surfaced recently. It says do not double, but it doubled for me today which made it $6.87 for 4 lbs or $1.72/lb which is great b/c I rarely see coupons for ground turkey :)

live love laugh - thank you for the lilly coupon link! This should double at the register making it FREE after coupon!

amw - yes, ZVR is the acronym for HT's digital coupons. In order to add them to your card, you have to sign up for an account with HT online. Easy, free, and saves you a lot of money over time :)

They update their coupons online at least once a week so there are always lots of coupons.

Currently you can use a paper coupon in the store AND still get the digital coupon for the same product automatically deducted. There are rumors this will end soon though.

Quick question ~ I am new to this and I am trying to learn all about couponing what is the ~~ HT ZVR digital e-coupon ?

  • Packy Mar 21, 8:05 a.m.

They have the peelies on the eggs in Moore County as well. I couldn't locate a coupon for the Red Hot but I bought 2 dozen anyway

  • Nancy Mar 21, 12:57 a.m.

With all the great cheese and eggs and such, I'm making as much as I can out of it all. Plus I had gotten the deal at HT during SD's (first one of two recent) for the pepperoni and lots of canned diced, flavored tomatoes so I see a lot of fast little pizzas in our future plus egg dishes of all sorts.

Love HT - they really make it cheap :)

  • Nancy Mar 21, 12:53 a.m.

Yes, I meant to share the peelie coupon on the eggs earlier here too! I will be picking up more eggs toward the end of the sale week and will do the RedHot sauce coupons as well - I used two dozen of the eggs today already.

Made 'breakfast bowls' with scrambled eggs, Jimmy Dean seasoned crumbled turkey sausage, colby jack shredded cheese and bite sized potato bits - very cheap to make with all the deals! They're in the freezer.

I made naan bread tonight too, saw the Palermo pizzas using naan bread and thought - I can do that! And the price of naan bread at the stores is outrageous, so I found a recipe online and made those tonight - will turn those into individual pizzas.

Made a batch of applesauce today too, and a loaf of bread AND crock pot whole chicken w/potatoes - I was a busy girl LOL But everything is in done, cleaned up and now I can get back to sewing knowing that there is plenty to eat without me having to prepare anything when someone is hungry :)

I love English muffins Nancy. Next time I am at Aldi I will pick some up for .99. Thanks for the heads up. I REALLY wish there was a closer Aldi!!

I make my own version of a McMuffin with turkey bacon and low fat cheese. I also like the mini muffin pizzas you mentioned. Kroger often puts theirs on sale for $1.00, as well.

Here's another good deal: The eggs at the HT in Cary on Walnut and Tryon tonight had peelie coupons for .75 off eggs when you buy any RedHot sauce. I had a coupon for .75/1 RedHot sauce making the small bottle free. I used the .75/1 eggs coupon (does not double) and the total cost for a dozen eggs and the hot sauce was 25 cents. :-)

  • Nancy Mar 20, 10:19 p.m.

LOL, Faye, as I was standing in line at Aldi's today, I saw their english muffins and grabbed to packages for 99 cents each - I'm thinking some might turn into little pizzas :)
