lol @ soap hoarder! That's a good thing juanita, but I buy for my 25 year old nephew and after basketball he needs to be a soap hoarder!

sbigham3, It was in last Sunday's Redplum insert.

juanitasmith-thank you for not being a soap hoarder! :)

I have the chapstick ZVR off of 2. Where is the paper q to make them free?

okay Im back! This is my trip. Little because tomorrow is payday ;)

-Kraft Pasta Salad 3 x 1.99 =5.79 -Tide Boost= 7.69 -Dove Men Soap= 3.79

Total before= 18.23 paid after coupons and ZVR's= 2.99 spent!

Scoutmomof2~i didnt which i probably should have, this isnt my normal HT i only come to this one once every 2 or 3 months so i figured i'd check my HT when i got home tonight. If its not, its ok, he just got the dove mens body wash during SD at LF so he should be ok for a while lol.

Carelesswhisper~you are totally right .24 for 6 bars of soap is amazing ,but i just bought him 2 of the dove mens body wash during SD's at LF last week so i figured i'd leave it for someone who really needed it, i dont want to be a soap hoarder lol

juanita .24 is still a great price for the soap. My Ht was out so I will try again later and get a raincheck if it's still out.

juanita, did you check the price at the desk? Maybe they just forport to mark it.

Ht on Horton Rd in Durham had the dove mens for 7.99....i decided to pass on it....Faye do all HT's have the same prices on their items?

Packy, you found the Dove soap? I didn't have luck with that one.

it was on the bottom shelf....waaaaayyyyy back there. there were a couple there. And I was there right at noon

Remember to get rainchecks on the Dove soap if it isn't in stock.

Packy, you found the Dove soap? I didn't have luck with that one.

I was able to use the Dove soap coupon AND the ZVR. I wouldn't take it bc the price was 3.99 and Q was for 4 but the manager came over and had to adjust a bunch of coupons for me.

Hit HT at lunch...and FINALLY they had everything I needed bc I went ahead and went before the pickin's got slim. :)

4 chapsticks, 2 pantene hairsprays, suave shampoo & conditioners, tide boost, dove bar soap, 2 mccormick's seasoning packs, 2 packs of rice, 2 chex mix, 6 boxes of 100 calorie snack packs (LOVE THESE), Lipton tea bags, 1 stouffers lasagna, 1 armor meatballs, 2 packs of ballpark hot dogs (they were marked down at the FV store for a $1 off of the already low price of 3.15/per pack) and 2 spicy mustard.

I'm still unsure how to calculate total savings here... is it coupons tendered PLUS total VIC savings, PLUS ZVR savings? If that's the case, total before coupons was $125.32 and OOP was $23.52

Score!

I had a great trip at HT today even though I was only able to use 1 coupon for the Coke. Still a good deal at 8.59 for 5 12 packs. I paid 13.xx for lots of stuff including hot dogs, Tide booster, tea, mustard, Franks sauce, and more!

Huggies Wipes 56 ct refill on sale for $1.99 - $1/1 printable makes it 99 cents each!

Faye, they keep reloading my B1G1 Dove chocolate bar. I probably have used it 6-8 times and its there again. And it takes off 1.19 not the sale price of 0.99. MY kids are liking that.

eitakydennek - you can only use a ZVR once. Sometimes it will reload after you have used it and then you can save it to your Vic card again and use it again. But you can only use each one once and then it has to be available to reload before you can use it again. It has been a while since I have seen a ZVR reload though. Maybe they stopped doing that....

Like tightwad, I also got my free coke coupons through mycokerewards.com when they offered a great deal on them if you had enough points banked from entering the codes on the boxes and bottle caps.

ZVRs you can use once only. However, once in a blue moon they let you reload them. It happened to me before with the Whole Fruit Smoothies and is currently recurring over and over again with the B1G1 Dove chocolate bars.

I got my coke coupons using mycokerewards

Pepsi 2 liters are on sale $1.50 each - 50/1 printable on coupons.com - B2G1 ZVR makes them 33 cents each!

Pampers wipes 64 ct are on sale for $2.50 - 50/1 - 50/1 ZVR makes them $1.

the coke coupons I get came from mycokerewards. you have to build up your account with points using codes on the boxes and bottle lids, and then you can redeem them for coupons.

I have 2 questions:

How many times can you use a ZVR? Just once? Where are you guys finding the coke coupons?

anyone have extra oikos yoghurt q's they wont use? email me at nakabinichols@gmail.com thanks!

Thanks scoutmomof2...I was annoyed because I know I have gotten overages before but what you are saying makes sense.

bblackley2 re: the free coke 12 packs... the reg. price is over $6 and the coupons only allow $5, so they aren't totally free with the coupon. Plus, I think the coupons specify only one per transaction. If you're lucky, they'll do a second transaction and let you have the other three boxes free - at least that was my experience last year.

shellauren, That may be because the MC was higher then the product price. I had that happen before and they will not allow the ZVR for it. If the MC had been for 3.75 (the product price being 3.99) the ZVR would have been applied and there would have been an overage.

Thank you carelesswhisper, I have two teenage boys so I would like to try it.

There is a 0.50/1 Zatarains printable coupon out there, use zip code 18051. There may also be a 0.50/2 Zatarains in the Sunday paper this week in the Redplum insert.

I thought the dove q was for $2? maybe I looked at the wrong one...will have to check again; thanks for the headup up Faye!

Harris Teeter would not honor the full amount of coupon for Dove Men Care bars because of the zvr...I did not go to my usual Harris Teeter and I was annoyed. Heads up it was the HT on 54; not the one at Homestead-the one at Homestead is out of the Dove Men Care bars.

scoutmom, I like the the Tide Boost. My daughter can't make some stains on her clothes like no one else. The Tide boost gets out whatever stains are on her clothes.

Thank you Faye for all you do!!! I am fairly new to couponing, and it really helps to have someone like you to help guide me along! I really look forward to Wednesdays now! Blessings to you!! ;)

Faye, you saw my post about the Boost right? I haven't tried it yet and was tempted by the $3 coupon in the paper but with the sale price and the ZVR, free is great to try it.

LOL - you beat me to it scoutmom! :-)

wildfrench - yes - people do get different ZVR's. Sometimes folks mention that they have one that I didn't get.

wildfrenchrose, I think sometimes they are a little different.

Do different people get different ZVR's? I frequently can't find ones Faye mentions--like today, I can't find the Campbell's Chunky soup (but did have the Campbell's Natural soup), nor the Chex mix????

Tide Boost 5.99- $3 zvr - $3 MC = FREE

I also have a $1 zvr on the chapstick making them free.

kculbertson, that was a GREAT trip! I can;t wait to go later today.

Yay! just got $43 in groceries for $3. If you like Pantene, they have big shamp/con bottles on sale $5.50 and styling products are $3.50. I got hairspray and gel for $7 minus $3/2 P&G coupon and the $3/2 ZVR making it only $1 for 2 bottles. Pleased!

bblackley2, YES!

I'm new to couponing. Question - Coca-cola, 12 pack cans, Buy 2 Get 3 Free = $2.72 per 12-pack when you buy 5 at once (my buy price is $2.50 or less for soda 12 packs)

If I have 2 free coupons for 12 pack Coke products - can I use those and get all 5 free?

Wow Faye! Great detective work-Dove men's bar soap here I come!
