Hampton Police investigate homicide of 18-year-old woman
A person has died after being shot in Hampton early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Lassiter Drive.
Posted — UpdatedWhen Hampton Police officers arrived, they found 18-year-old Asia Serria Munden-Ferrell with a gunshot wound. The Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue pronounced her deceased on scene.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed that a dark-colored sedan was traveling on Lassiter Drive when the occupant(s) fired towards the apartments.
Munden-Ferrell was hit one time by the gunfire. There was one building struck by gunfire during the incident as well as several vehicles.
There were no other injuries reported.
