<b>ENFIELD, N.C.</b> — An Enfield man wanted on bigamy charges has turned himself in, Halifax County sheriff's deputies said Tuesday.

Investigators said Tony Fitzgerald Hilliard, 50, was married in 1989 but never divorced his first wife before marrying a second and third time. He is facing two counts of bigamy.

Investigators said Hilliard turned himself in Monday and was released on a $4,000 bond pending a Sept. 30 court date.
