Halifax county minister faces indecent liberties charge
Authorities in Halifax County have charged a Roanoke Rapids minister with taking indecent liberties with a minor.

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — Authorities in Halifax County have charged a Roanoke Rapids minister with taking indecent liberties with a minor.
William Ray Meinsen, 47, pastor of New Life Church of Christ, was charged with one felony count on Tuesday, according to court records. He is scheduled to appear before a judge on July 17.
Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp said deputies began investigating Meinsen in late February.
