Fayetteville, N.C. — Cumberland County deputies arrested a Jack Britt High School student on Friday after finding a handgun in his locker, authorities said.
Edgar Gilman, 16, of Bruce Mount Place in Fayetteville, was charged with felony possession of a weapon on a school campus.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Deputies searched the school locker after receiving a tip about the gun, authorities said.
