Guess what I made today?

I realized I had a number of cans of Pillsbury biscuits in the fridge that were expiring this week. Instead of making a ton of biscuits, my oldest daughter and I made a special treat this afternoon that the kids and their friends loved! Can you guess what I made?

I realized I had a number of cans of Pillsbury biscuits in the fridge that were expiring this week. Instead of making a ton of biscuits, my oldest daughter and I made a special treat this afternoon that the kids and their friends loved! Can you guess what I made?

As you can see from the picture above, we made Monkey Bread! I had never made it in the large Bundt pan before. It was pretty easy and tastes great. I found the recipe at Pillsbury.com and it didn't take much time at all.   Be warned though: this recipe makes a ton of Monday Bread. I think I will send some with my daughter to bring to her friends at band camp as well!

I did amend the recipe slightly. I added some cashews, almonds and dried cranberries from one of the Fisher trail mix packs that I got for free at Super Doubles this morning. It gives it a nice zing!
