CODY, Wyo. — Wildlife officials have relocated a grizzly bear that was killing livestock on a U.S. Forest Service grazing allotment near Pinedale.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says the adult male grizzly was captured Friday and taken to the Mormon Creek drainage about 5 miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park in the northwest part of the state.
The area where the bear was released is currently occupied grizzly habitat.
