Great deal on eggs at Harris Teeter!

Harris Teeter eggs

Harris Teeter has a super deal on eggs this week!

The Harris Teeter brand eggs are on sale for $1.50 for a dozen eggs. That's a great buy these days!

The sale was not listed in the ad, so I am thankful to Jenni who posted on the Smart Shopper Facebook page about the deal!

You can see the rest of the Harris Teeter deals for the week at the link above.

I will be near a Harris Teeter today so I plan to pick up 3 dozen eggs. I think deviled eggs will be on the menu this weekend.

What egg dishes are you planning to make soon?

meredith88 - I am so glad the timing worked out so well. I hope the party was fun!

Thanks for posting this Faye! The timing is perfect! I was just asked to make my deviled eggs for my husband's family's Thanksgiving on Halloween party this weekend and was dreading having to buy the eggs because they are so expensive right now. This is perfect!

RAESMOM1612 - Thanks !! so emailed coupons are OK as long as they are specific amounts off specific products !

French toast! I'll have mine with butter, fresh squeezed lemon juice and powdered sugar please. Homemade eggnog (ewww, but I'm the only one in my family who doesn't like it), egg salad, omelets, meringue cookies.

Sorry I missed all the good questions and super answers. I was out buying eggs! lol Seriously, I got 3 dozen while I was in the vicinity of an HT this afternoon.

Thanks to everyone for the tasty egg dishes! Now I won't have to egg you on for more recipe ideas....

Hey ThomasG, the printable coupon that jdouglas and madevita87 are referring to is the $ off $$ total printable coupons. If it was something that was mailed to her house (or like the ones that target usually puts in their inserts for $10 off $50 food purchase) then HT would have taken it as a competitor, but since she is printing it at home HT will not except it. Any other printable q is accepted at HT example the $2 challenge butter q would be accepted (and would double during SD's)

From my DW: more recipes with eggs - puddings/pies form scratch ( banana , coconut,...)
breads and pastas- if you can find good prices on fruits it is a good time to bake/cook ahead for holidays/gifts and freeze .many people make the breakfast casserole with loads of eggs .

I think this has been asked before but just to be sure :
    A printable coupon is ??
Example : email coupon for $2 off challenge butter is or is not a printable therefore not accepted at HT ??
Thanks for your patience and all replies

    thank you jdouglas13!
    Great egg dish ideas!

Madevita, sadly that coupon will not work because it is a printable coupon.

Egg dishes: quiche, pasta carbonara with bacon and asparagus, veggie frittata, fried egg and bacon sandwich on a buttered Kaiser roll, Dutch baby pancake. Homemade lemon meringue pie uses quite a few eggs too.

Faye-I have a question. Will HT accept a coupon that I just received through my email from CVS for $10 off of a $40 purchase? I used the FL coupon at HT a few weeks ago for $5 off, but wanted to make sure this one would work. Thank you so much! Great deal on eggs btw! I was planning on doing my weekly shopping at HT this Sat. to get the stock up deals, and eggs were on my list!
