Grand opening scheduled for Knightdale Station Park

Posted June 18, 2013

A quick post to update that a grand opening date has been scheduled for the opening of the new Knightdale Station Park, which sits near downtown Knightdale.

The grand opening is set for 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Aug. 17. The first phase of the 76-acre park includes four athletic fields, a dog park, picnic pavilions and restrooms. But the main piece for many Knightdale parents is the playground, which, among other features, includes a large play barn structure. I really look forward to checking this playground out.

You can learn a bit more about the park project in this video interview with town engineer Fred Boone. The video comes from the town of Knightdale.

yeah, disregard the thousands of other Knightdale families that have dogs because YOU don't personally have a dog. :rollseyes Hey, I don't have kids either, so screw the playground. Oh, and I don't play any sports so why is my tax money being used for sports fields. and there are always adult diapers, so who needs restrooms?! jeez city council, can't you get anything right?!
