Grain higher, livestock mixed

— Grain futures were mostly higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. gained 2 cents at $4.06 a bushel; Dec. corn rose 3.25 cents to 3.4050 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 2 cents at $1.75 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans advanced 17.25 cents to $9.8975 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was off .23 cent at $1.0767 a pound; September feeder cattle fell .13 cent to $1.3532 a pound; while October lean hogs rose .63 cent at $.5555 a pound.
