Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO — Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery was 1.60 cents lower at $4.0540 a bushel; December corn was 1.40 cents higher at $3.47 bushel; December oats was 1.40 cents higher at $2.0040 a bushel while November soybeans gained cents to $9.6120 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .48 cent lower at $.9703 a pound; October feeder cattle was 1.23 ent lower at $1.290 pound; October lean hogs gained .73 cent to $.5218 a pound.
