There are just two weeks left to register for the Wade Edwards Learning Lab's incredibly affordable summer workshop series for rising seventh to 12th graders.

The programs run June 26 to Aug. 3 and cost $35 per workshop. Scholarships are available.

Topics include improv, robotics, video production, a Pinterest party, community service opportunities, math, chemistry, College 101 and more.

Some workshops are just fun. Others are designed to help students get ready for the next school year.

The four-day workshops run from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Students can attend two workshops for a full day of programming.

The learning lab's website has the details. The learning lab is at 714 St. Mary's St., Raleigh, across from Broughton High School.
