Goo Goo Dolls, Mystery Science Theater: The week ahead

— The Goo Goo Dolls play Raleigh and Mystery Science Theater takes on a viral B-roll movie at theaters in the Triangle this week.


The final battles of Fire in the Triangle round one are Monday and Tuesday this week. Stay with Out & About for chef interviews, battle recaps and more coverage.


Two popular bands are heading to Raleigh tonight. The Goo Goo Dolls perform at Walnut Creek this evening. Tickets start at $20. The Neighbourhood plays Red Hat Amphitheater tonight. Tickets start at $25.


Country music fans should head to Koka Booth Amphitheatre this evening for the first concert of the Raizin' a Ruckus Country Music Series. Southbound 85 takes the stage and tickets are only $5.


A rather ridiculous but funny event is tonight – a live broadcast of the stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000 giving their take on the Sharknado movie that went viral last year. Three theaters in Durham, Raleigh and Cary are showing this event.
