it's very difficult and tricky to nail the right medication. Lexapro was a disaster for me but I know it works well for others... paxil did almost nothing, prozac made me even more anxious... but it's your body chemistry.
dont' give up hope... and since I found the right "cocktail" if you will, the doses have steadily decreased for the past 3 years... hopefully in a couple more I will be able to manage these issues myself.

Depression can lead to suicidal thoughts which once acted upon easy classify this as a fatal disease.
If you or someone you know suffers this often debilitating disease, being able to understand the complexities and length of time one has suffered can go along way to aiding one in crisis.
With today's economic strife and continued unemployment statistics, many who were borderline may very well tip the scale in to full blown depression making the start over even more difficult and challenging.
My personal prayers to all who suffer this hideous and deadly demon that resides inside our brain....
I am not just a depression spokesperson, but I am also an unfortunate client...
