And they believe that if more parents actually got involved in teaching abstinence-only, that even MORE kids would pay attention.
These abstinence-only instructions were not based on religion. They simply gave kids the facts, emphasized that no contraception method (besides abstinence) is 100% effective, and asked that the children simply WAIT a little longer before engaging in something as risky as sexual activity. Amazing, the kids actually LISTENED to some degree. Only 1/3 of the kids being taught abstinence-only became sexually active, while 1/2 of the kids being taught about contraception became sexually active.
Isn't it awesome when common sense prevails! And there's nothing the naysayers can say or do about it. Love it!
