What exactly is appropriate to say for a profile on a news site?? Even then, I never know what to say in these little description paragraph thingys... So I shall just make a "fact list":

1) I am rather opinionated. I do try to keep this to a minimum, but that doesn't always work out. Although I don't try to, I probably will end up offending someone at one point or another. Just keep in mind, if this does happen to you, that I don't mean to.

2)More often than not, my comments aren't going to be posted because I tend to have a potty mouth. I try to censor...really I do!!  

3)I get annoyed by spelling errors. Although I have NEVER denied making an honest mistake here and there myself. I try realllllly hard not to point it out. But if you get to know me well enough, you can pretty much count on my doing that to you.

4)I'm weird... not in a bad way... but I'm weird. Maybe quirky is a better word. Eh, well...either works. That's all that can be said about that...

5)I call people hunny a lot. Even if I don't know you, if you seem nice, I will probably call you hunny. If you don't like it....well.....I don't know what to tell ya.

6)I have a very silly and playful personality (see aforementioned statement about being "weird"). I essentially believe that this whole "adult" thing sucks, and I choose to only act like one when it is deemed necessary and/or appropriate. This is probably the reason why my daughter (age 5) and I are also best friends.

7)In relation to the former, I am also not your typical conservative soccer mom (and I mean no offense to anyone by saying that, so please don't start chastising me for it). In example, I have two relatively large tattoos, and I have plans to get two more. My daughter and I like our music LOUD, and we don't listen to lame-o Kidz Bop. Granted, we aren't listening to anything really explicit (we avoid all blatently s3xual songs), but I do not obsess over censorship. She knows what not to say, and she doesn't say it, and that's good enough for me. We also, on occasion, eat ice cream or cereal for dinner... And no, I do not particularly care how people feel about any of these things. We're happy, we enjoy life, and that's all that matters in my mind. 

8) I despise debating about religion and/or politics. Furthermore, I despise debating in general. To me, it is basically glorified arguing, no matter how you look at it, and since I also hate arguing, I hate debating. It's really quite simple... and no, I do not wish to debate on why I dislike debating.

9) I don't know as I would call myself "new" to the area, but I moved to North Carolina in November of 2005. I'm originally from Vermont, so I guess that to some of you I'm a "Yankee". Which, I still don't really understand this whole civil war obsession that's going on....but I shan't get into that....moving along....

10)As you're probably already noticed, I like to use Old English on occasion. It makes me happy... and yes, I enjoy reading Shakespeare, say what you will.

Now, since I never know how to end these things, I will just end on the note that, if you choose to leave some sort of rude and/or a$$anine comment on here about something I've said, it will be deleted.

favorite music: everything!! death cab for cutie, vampire weekend, the doors, queen, new age, classical, all types of rock, acid jazz, electronic. some country, but i'm choosy about it...which is also why i buy jif, cause you know, choosy mom's choose jif. har har.

favorite movies: moulin rouge and remember the titans are ones i never grow tired of. then there are about 10 million others that i like, i would list some of them, but this stupid box won't let me be long-winded. j3rk!

favorite hobbies: anything outdoors, painting, baking, daydreaming, going on "adventures" that probably are only adventures to me....

favorite tv shows: house and iron chef are the only ones i watch religiously... other than that, it's whatever catches my interest at a given time.

favorite restaurants: depends on what day you ask me...

favorite web sites: GOLO, Facebook, Ebay

favorite vacation spots: home (vermont), cape cod...and sadly, that is the extent of the "vacations" i've been on. lol. i have a verrrry long "to visit" list.
