Description: The Constitution Party of NC will hold its 2009 State Convention on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 4000 North Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, NC 28205-4976. The Convention is open to the public and all people interested in learning more about CPNC are welcome to attend. In addition to making an RSVP on the Meetup Group page we ask that everyone planning to attend also RSVP at the state web page at www.constitutionpartync.com/convention_2009.htm.

The Registration Fee to offset Convention costs is:

Early Bird Registration of $5.00 (RSVP at the State Web page on or before August 21, 2009 although the $5:00 can be paid in advance or at the Door on August 29th)

Regular Registration: $7.00 (RSVP at State Web page after August 21, 2009 or with no RSVP at all)

The registration fee can be paid online at the state web page, mailed in (form is on the state web page) or paid at the door. RSVPs sent via Postal Mail and Postmarked by August 21, 2009 will be eligible for Early Bird Registration. We ask that RSVPs sent via Postal Mail be sent no later than August 21, 2009 to ensure we recieve your RSVP as we will not be responsible for RSVPs which do not arrive by the Convention due to being mailed too late, and registrant will be required to pay the Regular Registration Fee.

Lunch: A lite Lunch will be provided by the Party at the Convention for those in attendance, one of the reasons for a registration fee. However, you can choose to eat at the Convention Lunch provided or choose from one of the area restaurants. If you would like to contribute to the Convention lunch by providing some part of the meal, please let Jordon Greene know by e-mail at treasurer@constitutionpartync.com. Desserts and side dishes would be welcomed.

Voting: Only Full Members whose dues are paid on or before (or postmarked on or before) August 15, 2009 are eligible to vote. Those wishing to vote at the Convention, must physically be present at the Convention to vote.

Convention Schedule:

The doors open for registration approximately at 8:15 AM. The business portion of the meeting (election of officers, etc.) will begin at 10:00 AM and will be completed after lunch. Guest Speakers will be presenting in the afternoon. The Convention ends at 6:00.
