The pic fits me to a T. Kind of abstract. I really don't fit into a "box" and hate when people try to put me in one. I want to be my own peson... sometimes that means NOT being traditional and I am ok with that!
I have come to realize you can only please some of the people some of the time and all of the people none of the time... And honestly, I am at the point in my life where I think whether someone is "pleased" or not is THEIR responsibility - NOT mine
My Kids are so happy! I implemented "Mondays sucks enough" so on mondays they get to have whatever they want for breakfast. Ice cream, cake, left over pork chops from the night before. Doesn't matter. And you know what? It worked, they actually look forward to Monday mornings now. (otherwise they eat very heathly :-))
My Children are my life, I think we are blessed with them, and we can only influence their lives for a little while, so we had better be there when it counts.
I have grown fond of many of you on GOLO. Some of you have grown on me in a good way, others like a fungus (lol) but really, I would like to get to know more about those I spend so much time talking with. Didn't see that you had written on my profile. I've been around, but mostly just lurking. I like good discussion on some topics, but GOLO has been just crazy lately. Too much 'woe is me' and 'can you believe this guy blocked me' and 'who cares who blocked who - just grow up' blogs. You would think that we were in 9th grade home room!
So I just read and observe and don't contribute as much. (Plus, I've had tons of work to do! Trying to not waste too many taxpayer $$$!)

My occupation is Medical Software...used to be an RN I live in Raleigh I am 42 years young. My favorite thing to do is..favorite huh? um...go on adventures! My least favorite thing to do is? fold laundry One habit I wish I could break Not too many bad habits... And finally - you would be surprised to know that I can knit.

If you will check out the two websites I have listed below, you can find free clinics and community health centers that operate on the sliding scale. They are all top notch caregivers. My wife even worked for one of the ones near us that we used as our primary care physician even after we had insurance.
