Where: Cedar Hills Park
Cost: $3 entry, $2 ace pool (carries over week to week)
When: Every Tuesday during the summer. Registration from 5:30 - 6:00, Draws @ 6:00, shotgun start approx. 6:15
This is a random doubles tournament with three levels of registration: Amateur, Advanced, and Pro. When teams are drawn they will match pros with ams until all of the pros are drawns. Then they will match adv. with ams until one of those piles is gone. Then they will match the remaining group with themselves.
You only compete with your skill level, so if you are on an am-am team, you are only competing with other am-am teams, not with the pros.
Payouts for tournament winners and placers are discs. Depending on how many people show up determines the number of payouts, but it is usually 5 - 7 teams.

my favorite courses aroudn here are cedar hills and kentwood...kentwood is nice if you wanna play a quick game...the holes are short, and you can score a lot of birdies, but it's still a decent challenge.
buckhorn at harris lake is also pretty cool.
there's also a pretty nice private course right outside of louisburg.
