I saw a black snake slither across our back yard once..heading to the neighbors. Sure hope its partner was waiting there and they moved on to finer homes...lol. Guess I hate snakes because there was one in my shed when I lived in RobCo...it was swallowing the baby birds.. I killed the snake and was able to save one baby. The other was too far down. The moma bird was watching me. Not sure if the baby lived very long or not. The sheer shock of being swallowed whole was probably too much for the lil one.

Snakes don't bother me too badly... they're big enough that I'm likely to see them in plenty of time for both of us to survive. Now, a spider is another matter entirely! Anything beyond a daddy longlegs is on my death list!
Nice chatting with you. Hope you're doing well. How's about the chickens... getting plenty of eggs? I still want some chickens, but hubby 'ain't interested' at all. He's been real busy bringing some from one of his co-workers, to keep me in "good eggs" so he doesn't have to build a coop!
