I enjoy life and the beauty that exists around me. One reason I love photography is I may help make someone else open their eyes to the wonder that exists everywhere. Another reason is: my father loved photography and this is something I inherited from him. I like to think he would be proud of me. I have been married 35 years and have a 25 year old son. I am a nurse and love people.

How is your son doing???
Doing ok here. Have terrible eye allergies that have, I think, led to eye infections. Did all the meds per instructions, to no avail, so turned to tea bags which seems to be helping more than anything else has. Hard to type though, cause I can't see with all the drip drip from my eyes, especially the right one.

Elaine, Henry's pics from childhood were so sweet and lovable. I know that learning to live without your beloved companion will be very hard. I will keep you in my prayers.

I do not know whether or not your husband can look down at this world and see what you are doing. But i do know that he is alive in Spirit, just like he was before he disappeared. And in his new life, he has awareness of his surroundings. Being with Jesus has to be unimaginable for you and me, for we haven't seen the greatness that awaits us.
There may be calendars on the walls of God's house HE has prepared for us. But I don't think there will be clocks. Time will be unlimited forever.

Many thanks for blogging about Hank. It is a pity that I did not have a chance to meet him in "real" life, he seems like he was a dearheart, a character, a gentleman, a scholar and good man. Please keep writing the blogs. I did something similar after the passing of my grandfather and it was were cathartic ( sp?). I wish you all good things for you and your family...

My eyes are much better, but my brother and I just went through about a week long bout with some kind of bug that has left us very sore and achy, mostly in the lower back and upper legs. Very strange!

I do think about my friends (you) when I know they are going through tough times. We live a long way apart (Fuguay & Wake Forest) but if you ever need any help with anything, it's never a long trip to a friends house. And I always have time for a friend. Have a great Holiday week end.

Can't really say what got me into this; like growing stuff, figured Bonsai was the next logical step........ the mini stuff on marble is called penjing, and it's very fun.....I'll be posting more pix in the future, thanx again!
