I am an Artist and Author. I transplanted from New Mexico to North Carolina over 20 years ago. Now seeking to make an income from my talents rather than the J O B that no one seems to have anyway. Go to the Mystery Shopping Providers Association website at:
http://mysteryshop.org/shoppers/search.php
Do a search for jobs by state, and within the desired miles from your zip.
Look at the jobs that come up. You'll need to click on the individual ads, and register with the particular companies who shop for the ones you're interested in.
A little advice, you will NOT make a lot of money. The biggest perk I found was occasionally getting a "free" meal out by doing a restaurant shop, or a few bucks off of my grocery bill. With gas prices like they are, I suggest you try to find shops in areas and on days when you will or can utilize the timing and location to get something else accomplished.
