The blog wasn't about a hair style but discrimination at the workplace.a man being punished (made to take a desk job even after being forcd to cut his hair)because he wore the same style others wore. It may of been trivial to you, but it was my blog and my convictions on discrimiation, no matter who the color the victim is. It shocked me coming from you. I'd of thought you'd said nothing and moved on as opposed to saying something harsh as my blog was trivial/// maybe to you but not to me. I was informing you, as you did me that there are other things to blog on today such as the hiv vaccine. wasn't kind or nice of me but sometimes hurt runs deep for a while until it is forgotten.

I am returning from a trip that also had some difficulties, however, each failure brings a learned experience and for that is was well worth the added expense.
I wish you well and only have a few days before rocketing off on another adventure.

I can give you some practical advice, for what it's worth: when dealing with a centralized beuracracy it is often helpful to get away from the central office. There is an old axiom (I thinkfrom the old Soviet Union) that the farther you are from the central office, the easier the rules become. I would try the office in Fuquay or one of the other outlying branches.
Offer nothing unless asked - includng your INS card. Act confident and if they tell you the new card isn't good enough, ask them why and/or ask them to contact INS. (Take the number with you.) Point out that you HAVE a license and this is just a renewal.
If being nice and easy going doesn't work at a branch office, then you may want to go down to the main office and raise holy hell.
