Would you do me a favor. I noticed you are a friend of WilliamEBrantley (the yesterday's weather guy). Anyway, I've never posted on his blog before, but, today having noticed it a gazillion times, I did. All I really did was ask one of my (oddly) humorous questions. It was something like "excuse me, I was wondering why anyone would want to know what yesterday's weather is. Frankly, I don't even think the folks in Bemis care what yesterday's weather is. Could you explain?"
So, I guess the guy got highly offended because when I went back by I was blocked, ignored, and excommunicated. Could you just let him know that it was a JOKE, and that I really had no intention of offending him. (Apparently he takes yesterday's weather VERY seriously). I guess I'm just completely missing something about yesterday's weather. Oh, well. The main thing to communicate is that I did not intend to offend, and apologize. I don't mind being blocked though, so, he can leave it.

Me either! Apparently, I've been remiss in never offering collards to any of my other cats before they died.
Though none of them were so active in hunting/foraging for snacks like Dexter.

I have cared for Crystal for over a year, and Bemis...well is story is well known....
Both are most assuredly in a place where they can find warmth as well as a steady routine. I have another trip departing tomorrow, and feel blessed at how rapid these events unfolded...
Had it not been for your blog, this never would have occurred. You as well as my mom, and Deb aka Dragon_lady have all become saviors not to me, but to these two precious cats.....
An immeasurable thanks to you and we REALLY need to get together for that coffee.....my treat....:)

I honestly don't mind at all. I've always been open about my life - being homeles, molested, etc. The reason is - I hope that someone - if even just 1 person, can see me and say "If she can get through it, I can" and then move forward, then I've done something good and my life has made a difference.
What's hard for everyone to understand (even myself) is that I absolutely do not see myself as someone who can be beneficial to others. You said I'm an inspiration, and I've heard that on more than one occasion, but I just don't see that about myself. I want to be, I try to be, but I don't see it. But it goes all the way back to the image issue. What I see in my head, is still the 460 lb woman who hid from people, never looked people in the eyes from fear, and used her weight to keep people away. That's still in my head. Someone asked me today how I deal with the attention... simply? I don't. I get too much at work and I go home crying.. I don't know how to deal with it.

Narrow mindedness is subjective. The crux of the argument is proof. No one has been able to trot out any of the triumvirate and no one has been able to show empirically existence of their alleged deeds. Does requiring proof indicate narrow mindedness? Or does belief in a thing where no proof exists indicate narrow mindedness? Or are you using narrow mindedness incorrectly when you may mean something else.
I suspect the latter. Cheers.

Who's arguing? I was just pointing out your analogy needs a little work! Jeez. You'd think we were married. Yes dear. Sorry. Yeah, it was a very good analogy. I don't know what I was thinking. No, I haven't been drinking this morning, YET!
