about outside the beltline
I grew up in a small town in eastern North Carolina, where I saw the local government turn what could have been a thriving community into a dying one. I moved to the center of the state to get away from the kind of thinking that I saw all over rural NC. I love my state, and I would never live anywhere else. Even so, I still see some people holding us back from the greatness we could achieve. I hate it when people tell lies or compromise their ethics. I love my friends and family.
