This is a group that will celebrate our blue collar men and women. These wonderful people are the ones that do the jobs that no one else wants to do. It was so wonderful that everyone responded to the blog the way they did with such warm responses. Our teachers, military, police officers, firemen, farmers, etc.... Hard working people that get up every morning and head toward these thankless jobs to make life better for everyone around them. To all these men and women I extent my sincerest graditude. Keep up the good work!!!!

maybe instead of flipping them off because they complicate your morning commute maybe you could bring them a cold drink and say thank you for the job you do.

my husband has been in construction most of his adult life after coming out of the army. He is a heavy equipment operator. He has moved up and has a bull dozer with AC now but for many years he did not have that. Still the long hours ... the long drives to the job sites and the heat take a toll on him every year.
