I am the proud parent of a one and a half year old little boy. I love to read, I like writing poetry(It helps me express my feelings when sometimes I can't verbally) I like scrapbooking and I like trying new things. I don't like childish drama or spiteful people. I have an Associate degree in business admin. and hope to one day own my own business. I am also currently going back to school online to earn my Bachelor's in Social Science. I am looking forward to getting the most out of this life I was blessed with and enjoying it with my son.

Hey, that sucks you gotta work them hours. Makes for a long day. I like the mornings better, they seem to go by faster. I should be back to work on the 5th or 6th. Im not sure when he is leaving yet. He should still get the same amount of time. I think it starts at the time he left his base which was thursday. Im just ready to see him. It should be either today or tomorrow afternoon. Not really sure. Your chicken pamr sounds good. I havent made that in a long time. I found a receipe for mac and cheese that you cook in the crock jpot. Im gonna have to try that out. It sounds really good and creamy!!! I brought a salad today for lunch, but i already ate it lol. I get off at 1 today!!!! YAH. IM BACK!!!! DID YOU MISS ME? LOL So how have you and kemari been. Thank you so much for the birthday card. It really brightened my day. Im so happy to have Duane back, just not long enough. He flies back monday morning. Hopefullly i will get that whole day off. I know the tears will be flowing freely. I had a great time off of work though, It has really been a busy week. Last sunday we went to my dads house so that they could meet and that went really well. They hit it off great. It was also my dads birthday and me and his wife bought him a new grill so we cooked out too. MMM that was good. Monday and tuesday we had to do that stuff with christian. We also bought a new stove last tuesday. FINALLY I CAN COOK LOL. We all went to Olive Garden in Southern Pines for my birthday, by the way was fantistic. Friday, i had to get some work done to my car!!! Uggg, I hated that.

Then on saturday we went to wilmington to the beach and stayed at a very nice resort and just relaxed. It was such a beautiful day out. We were even able to walk on the beach some. We had a great time. Sunday we went to my moms house for my birthday again, since i have been avoiding everyone like the plague lol. We all had a great time though. He was able to meet my sister and her family that day as welll. It was nice. Then back to work for me Monday!!!! Had alot to caught up on so the last 2 days have gone by quckly, but today seems to drag. I just want to be with him while he is here. Imiss him already. Been hard to leave in the mornings. I didnt realize how diffucult it would be with all the changes and then haveing to go back to the way things were when he leaves again. Kinda painful and drainful. Im just ready for him to be back for good. Tomorrow we are going to have some pictures taken of us and the family. Im excited about that. So what have you been up to? I miss you!!!

HELLOOOO!!!! Sorry that you are having to work so many nights. Been there done that. Hate it. Im glad that you are taking some courses on line. I would love to be able to do that. How did you do it and what is it costing you? We are going to be getting our pictures taken today. Im so hoping that they will turn out nice. I hate getting my picture taken. I cant believe its already time for Duane to leave. This time has really flown by. I hope the next 6 months do to. His orders to Korea have been deleted, im happy about that but a good possiblity that he will get stationed somewhere else. Just a wait and see process i guess. I would hate to have to move. Anyways too far away for me to even think about. I was sleep walking last night I think. I woke up on the couch, got a beer and a cup of water ane went to bed and put the beer on my dresser and took the water to bed with me and spilled it lol. Dont know what could have caused me to do that. What are you doing this weekend?

I am doing good. Tired today and it has been busy. This will be the first time you have took kemari there right? I hope it all goes well for you all. I know what you mean about your car. We spent 700 last friday on my car. needed new brakes and rotors and stuff. I couldnt believe how much it was. These past 2 weeks have went by way too quickly, cant believe he is leaving monday. Our picture session went well yesterday, i cant wait to get them back. I will give you some!!! I m so hungry today but dont know what i want yet. What are you dressing kemari as for halloween? where are you guys going to go? I guess me and justine will go to the neiborghood by us. Not really sure yet

Hey sunshine!!! I was off yesterday, because Duanes flight was at 11. Got to the airport and it was canceled, so we got another day together!!! Made me so happy and we so enjoyed that extra day together. But it was so hard to say good bye again. Ive cried so many tears that it hurts, cant believe i have that many in me lol. We did stop to see you yesterday but you had already left. So we went to eat at applebees to wait for christian to get done with his thing. We really didnt do too much over the weekend. Went to my dads house on Friday. Saturday Duane took me out to eat at Ruby tuesday. Sunday was a lazy day and we picked up pizza from brooklyn. We really did enjoy our time together, just ended way too soon. Im ready for april to be here!!! I have finally put away my flip flops. I cant belive its already this cold. I cant stand it. When are you going shopping again? Let me know. I would also love to do some shopping around southernpines at those little shops. I think it would be fun

At least you get to eat lunch today...I have nothing. I dont feel like eating anyways so its no big deal. Yes, i would like to go shopping too. I know what you mean about the water bills. I hated getting mine when my toilet was messed up. Finally got sence enoough to get a new one. but dang....I thinking my water bill was like 350 for 2 months. Are you going to get a christmas tree this year? Im gonna get a small one, well not too small, but pretty. I always go to a place out towards linden. The prices are decent and the trees are usually very pretty.

Awwww, honey, sounds like you are having a bad day...Im so sorry, it did make me laugh though hahaha. I know what you mean though. You really going to take it home with you? Now that would be too funny. Real tress are great!! They only make a mess if you dont water them.. I Love the smell of a real tree. You should get the plastic ornaments so Kemari dont eat them. I didnt eat anything all day yesterday and know im so hungry!!! Im eating some peanuts. I dont have no one coming in till 5 so i guess i will have to just eat junk all day. Im going to cook bratworsts tonight for the dinner and some mac and cheese!!!When you gonna text me????

Well, dang you must be busy today. I am slow here. And its like really cold today. I have my heat on in here and it still feels cold. The still have the ac running in the store though. Man its goin to be a long winter here at work. Ive had to turn my heat on at home too a couple of times. Yesterday was really nice out. I hated being inside all day!!! Im ready for spring and summer again!!! Well, at least i get to save some money on not having to get my toes done now. lol. I hate for my feet to be cold so gotta be wearing the socks now. Well, ive wrote you a bunch of posts....write me back, im bored. Oh and for some crazy azz reason im craving me some buttered noodles with salt and pepper on it lol

Id be so pizzzed about the insurance thing too. I hope you get it all back. You should put in a change of address so you get your mail at your house from now on. You keep throwing away money. Good morning sunshine!!! How ya doing today???? Im doing pretty good. It will probably be busy today because of it being payday for the military today. What time do you get off work today? Im here till 530. but have someone coming in at 12. I have a few errends to run when she gets here though....if its not raining. What is up with all the rain. I was watching the news this morning and they said something about the are predicting that we get alot of cold and snow this winter. We didnt have much of a summer this year so that suked. It rain at least 75 percent of the time, at least it seemed like it to me. What are your plans this weekend? Wanna get some lunch on Sat? Im suppose to get off at 130. Just let me know!!!

yesterday afternoon i got busy too. Was here by myself til 5. I get off at 530 today. I didnt bring any lunch, so i bought a bag of popcorn. it isnt very good. and it has made me really thirsty. I made dinner last and was going to bring some for lunch today, but there is just too much going on in the mornings for me to get accomplised. christian is a pain in the azz getting up for school. I tell justine once and shes up. Yes, i can wait till you get off and i can drive out that way, that way we dont have to drive all the way to Fayetteville. Where would you like to eat at? Im wanting something good.

LOL comparing my snickers bar hahaha. Thats alot for me since i dont usually eat chocolate. Moes will be good. They have beer too....I need to drink a few. and the food there is reaally good. Ive only ate at chilis once. So i will let you pick between those too. I like them both. Most of the people coming in here today are acting like jack azzes and pervs....I just want to punch them in their face. The weather is makeing me sleepy too. Great days to be sleeping in and snuggled under the covers, watching a good movie. also doesnt help that i have this heater on...They keep it so cold in here. i guess im gonna have to buy some long sleeve shirts but they are even uglier than the short sleeved ones. Do you want me to pick Kemari up for you when we got to lunch?? I will probably have Justine, not sure if Christian is gonna wanna go. Yes, I still need to lose weight. I would like to lose about 15 more pounds. Not sure if I can do it or not. Especially now that it has turned cold out, makes me not want to go outside at all. Why did Ragazziz close???? They had some good food and for lunch it was pretty cheap. That suks. I will be here till 2 tomorrow....so I will go home, get Justine and then pick Kemari up. Good morning Miss Lady!!!! Did you leave the car seat at your moms? Did you bring a shirt with you to work? Im tired this morning. I dont know why. I was in bed around 10. I was watching the news and fell asleep. This morning around 3am I jump outta bed, like some crazy women because on tv there was a baby cring and I was tring to find it.LOL. Took me a minute to realize what was going on. Yes, i know, im crazy lol. It is so dang cold today. Well Christian went on his date last night....but i dont think he is telling me the truth about some stuff. I got a text from him at 640 saying he just got to Arbys for lunch and wanted to know what time he had to be home by. I told him 12. He gets home at 910. There was not enough time for him to watch a eat, watch a movie and come home. He story just doesnt sit right with me.

LOL....Things are going to be alot differnt when Kemari gets that age...You gonna have your hands full. Im still laughing...Yes i heard about them tracker things but couldnt the kid just take it off??? He will be 16 on the 28th. I dont know why all these older girls want to go out with him. she doesnt even go to the same school. She didnt pick him up but her friend did but from school yesterday. She lives in Pinehurst so i didnt meet her last night either, because they went to the movies in aberdeen. Yes, we can look for his costume today. I need to find some winter clothes, I didnt realize i dont have much. Do you want us to meet you at work? Justine didnt go to my moms last night, so she will probably go with us. Not unless she has a adutide then she will be stay at home. She has been very moody lately

Ok, I will stop and get you some...I know what you mean about the cramps. I get them bad like every other month. I dont know why they get so bad either. I was taking a shower and got one and had to squat down for a few minutes that it hurt so bad. Thought i was going to pass out lol. Yes justine gets them pretty bad every month too. PMS is not the word for her lol More like DHA (devil has arrived) lol. And we are on the same cycle every month now.. 2 days apart. That is not a happy house then. Poor Christian and Duane lol. She is growing up way too fast...I accidently wore a pair of her jeans the other day. And shes 11. Im not going to buy much winter clothes either. Just a few long sleeved shirts. I only have one or two. Im usually here 6 days a week too. Man, its gonna suk when we start working sundays again. Where are you wanting to look for the custome at? Im glad hes got all his winter clothes...I think its gonna be a cold one. Im hungry too... i will be ready for moes as well

These people at the store still have the ac set on 65. Im freezing in here, even with my heater on. The fort bragg fair will be here on the 22nd, that is the day we plan on going. You and Kemari should come too. It only costs 5 if you get there before 7.

I hope your new girl does work out good. It just takes so long to get someone trained. ?W well i hope you are able to sleep in alittle when you are working nights. I miss sleeping in. Yes, the holidays are very stressful. Im not going to spend alot of money this year...the kids need to be happy with what they get. Justine says she doenst want any toys, so not sure what to get her. Christian probably will just want stuff for his dirtbike and i hate putting money into that thing. He needs to start worring about getting a car. Hes not doing good in school this year either, so He wouldnt be able to get a license anyway

Good morning!!!! Hope the rest of your weekend was good. What did you do yesterday? Did you get a chance to watch those movies? I had alot of fun on Satuarday. Kemari is a handful lol. If i remember right you have to close tonight. I get off at 330 , christian has to go to that class. I dont think i will have time to stop by tonight, i have to get a few things while im down that way. But if i do i will. Well, I hope you are having a good day!!! We need to get together more often. BRRR its cold out today. I had to start my car 10 mins early because it had frost on it. Im so not ready for winter!!!

Shes a lady that lives by me. She wanted to know where a closer one was. Me and Christian have to keep doing these classes until the end of nov. The one on Tues isnt bad, since i do have to partipate in that one. but on mondays, i have to find stuff to do. Im gonna go to michaels and to walmart today when i drop him off. Tring to find a few more things to send to duane. I have a box ready to send just need to add a few more things. Also tomorrow i go pick up our pictures!!! I cant wait to see them. Im so excited. I willl be sure to save you one! I didnt do anything yesterday either. It was a lazy day. Did some laundry and watched lifetime movies lol. I did bake 3 dozen cookies though. also made a tuna cassorole with cheddar-garlic biscuits. It turned out really good. Im not happy with it being this cold out lol. his meeting starts at 5. I get off at 330 get home, pick him up and then head back out. . I dont want to get sick either. Im still debating on going to the fair or not. The kids havent been in the greatest moods lately either. And christian thinks im just gonna keep putting money into his dirtbike. Its always something that he is needing. His birthday is next week....gues he will be getting more dirtbike parts. Duane bought some before he left too. a girl just came in here coughing and stuff and said shes getting over the swine flu...im like W T H are you doing in here then. I would not take her money until after i sprayed it down...i just explained i didnt want to get sick. I cant afford to either. All these appts that we have to keep going to. Also gotta call the orthoditst for justine to see when they can get her in. Busy. Oh, and i have got to make me eye appt. Im a danger on the road way lol

I was reading through the comments in AnnaMarie's earlier blog. And you are so right about home daycares. If the home is run correctly, and by this I mean licensed by the state and following all guidelines (I operate one such family child care), then the operator and all family members age 16 and over must have a criminal background check. Also, I am not allowed to leave the children in care with anyone that does not meet the state's basic criteria for a child care provider. This means: at least 21 yrs of age, high school graduate, cpr/first aid certified, SIDS certified, criminal background check, TB test, medical check up, and parents must be notified of who the person is, when I am leaving and when I am returning. This is state rules.

That is why it is so important that people check on those providing care for their children and that they know the state rules

I can't just decide I am going to the doctor and leave the children with my 18 yr old son. I can't just decide to go somewhere without letting my parents know. Licensed home providers fall under strict guidelines. And should (some guidelines like not being able to read the three little pigs, well, that's another story for another day), for the most part.

Everytime I hear of a child being injuring in a home setting (or a center for that matter), it breaks my heart.

The state licenses a home with 5 stars. Sure, 5 stars is supposed to be the best. But there are wonderful 1 star facilites out there as well. Parents should look for licensed (that means monitored) homes and ask for parent references. and do drop in visits and call at varying times of the day.

Hey!!! Ive been busy at work lately too. Hows the new girl coming around. Hope good and that she is a fast learner. What are you doing this weekend. I really dont have any plans. My grandma is coming home today so i will go visit with her tomorrow. Well i hope you are having a good weekend.

Where, oh where is my golo ho? lol. I miss you. Hurry up and get your new girl trained. It was nice seeing you yesterday even though it was only for a few minutes. Did you find a costume for Kemari yet? Its cold today again... i cant stand it. What are you doing for thanksgiving this year? Im not sure if my mom is going to cook or not yet. Im sure she will since my grandma is here. I know i wont attempt it. I have never in my life made a turkey or a ham. I wouldnt know where to begin. Well write me back when yoiu get a chance. Oh and what day are you off this week. I finally get sat off!!! YIPPEE

That really sucks about your new girl. Hate when that happens. That happened to me twice before, but they had been here for almost a month when they told me. Be glad she told you early. Im still not sure what justine and me are going to go on halloween. What time are you guys going to the firestation? Are you going too? or just your mom and step dad?

This has been a very long week, very slow at work. What time are you working today? I get off at 330. I have to go and pick up christains cake and then meet with his po. Me and Christian had a very long talk last night, and do you know he is still wanting to move out? I think its crazy. And yet he keeps saying he is going to finish school. How???? I can barely get him up in the mornings. I hate seeing him ruin his life. But what else can i do for him. Weve been in councling for what 4 months now. But the part i dont understand is that he can move out, but even though he can still be charged as an adult, im still responsable for him....How in the heck is that possible if he doesnt live with me. Sorry for ranting but dam, im just at a loss for words. And kinda heart broken..Not because of this but because of some of the things he said last night....He can be so ungrateful sometimes. Anyways....sorry again

Well, hes 16 today, no more boot camp or anything like that. He has his chance...now its jail or prison if he gets in trouble. But yet they will still make me responsible for it lol. I dont understand it all. And once he moves out, i have to let him come back home if hye wants too. Whats up with that. I dont know where he thinks he is going...he just keeps saying a friends house. I keep trying to tell him his friend is gonna get tired of feeding him and carting him everywhere. Hes got so much to learn....And i guess its gonna be the hard way. Other than that things are going good. Justine is going to her first school dance tonight and shes really excited about it. Man, they grow up fast lol. We would like to go with yall, just let me know when and i will run it by justine. I know she wants to go trick or treating too. This will probably be her last year doing it. I still gotta find me a new purse...ive looked every where...I found a really nice D & B at TJ max

But no way am i going to pay 128 for it. Hate it when you find something you really, really like, but cant get it lol. Guess i will keep looking. Even though i have been looking for like 3 months now. Should be finding something soon huh???lol

Oh yes, i got the pictures back and they turned out wonderful!!! Thats good that you are eating better. Fruits are vegs are good for you. Let me know when you go to the fresh market. I love that place. Very good stuff!!!! You can go with us if you want. Im really starting to get pizzzed...christian has texted me like 5 times wanting me to take him to the movies tonight, after what he said last night, i dont want to, but sometimes its just easier to do it instead of argueing. I just dont have the energy lol.

Oh and i also would like to know how much weight they said the average person would lose during this diet. I might want to try it....I dunno though... I love me some meat... I could do with out the sweet stuff tho. I need to start using my eliptcal more
