I was an Air Force wife for about 18 years, and my oldest son followed in his dad's footsteps and is serving over in Korea right now. He's done a stint in the desert, and is seeing all kinds of neat places, but God knows we miss him here at home. But he's serving our great country, and we're so proud of him!

My adopted Soldier sent me a REALLY nice package for Valentines Day; 3 shirts, a necklace w/my name on it, a teddy bear dressed in cammo from his "camp" and a BEAUTIFUL card.

actually not that bad, been dating a fella since Christmas, so far so good :) Went back home to Connecticut twice this year, that was really nice. NOTHING beats "home"
