Where is everybody at?

I was promoted this week...I have to figure out how to access the group since my original profile is gone! LOL

Hello my fellow junkies!!

I hope all is well in rock n' roll land!

Private Pyle I know you had a blast at downtown live...I'm looking foward to the Puddle of Mudd show in a couple of weeks.

Bye the way, has anybody heard of the new band Chickenfoot? Sammy Haggar, Micheal Anthony, Joe "funking" Satriani, and the drummer from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers!!!! They go in the studio in September to record, and already have written 10-12 songs. I can't wait for this one!!!!

My favorite bass players are- Flea, Les Claypool, Krist Novoselic (Nirvana) and Dimebag Darrell

Anyone go to Downtown Live this weekend?...okay, I did. Got there around 6:15. Saw the Balsa Gliders; okay, not great, but they at least explained what ALL their songs were about. The Connells rocked out as usual. The Old 97s were okay; they sound a lot like Driving and Crying or at least I thought. The best part of the night was the dancing cowboy near the front of the stage. My friend took video of him with his phone so hopefully it will be on YouTube soon.

I love rock an roll, put another dime in the jukebox baby, I love rock an roll...

If anyone still has cassettes (hee, hee...just me) I just bought a Pioneer SIX cassette changer. And you thought they only made cd changers. It got delivered this morning; I can't wait to get home and play. I hope I have RCA cables.

I did not know he was even still alive.

That's sad about Adler...former talent right down the drain!

TMZ has learned Steven Adler -- former drummer for Guns N' Roses -- was arrested early this morning in Hollywood for possession of narcotics, being under the influence and an outstanding warrant.

Adler is still in police custody.

Earlier this month, the 43-year-old rocker told a radio station he was planning on being part of the cast of "Sober Living," a spin-off of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab." The timing couldn't be better.

Thanks, PP. I didn't know that. I may take in that show, I may not. Thing is, the last time I saw Arrogance at KBA, it was really, really wierd: the same old people from the late 70's and 80's doing the same old shenanigans and basically acting like nothing had ever changed. I've moved on and grown up but it really seemed like some of them haven't. My wife saw a lot of that too -- we were in basically the same social solar system but never met until years later, and there were a few people we knew in common. She said something before I did and it made me realize that I wasn't a bitter old fert but instead I was seeing what I was seeing.

That has nothing to do with Rod, Don or anyone else in the band, they are all pretty good guys, especially once you know them.
