Stephen King - since I was a young man. Tom Clancy - The man does no how to tell a story CS Lewis - His work really changed the way I thought. HG Wells - The opening of War of the Worlds is almost musical it is so well put together.
These are just a few. I have always loved to read and the one of the most important things I tried to pass on to my daughter was a love of reading.
I try and write stories. I am actually working on something that is becoming now a novel.
The hardest thing for me to write is humor. I think good humor when done well should look effortless, but I have found it to take the most effort to actually pull off.
