The first is in the movie "Cadence". The song is titled "End Of My Journey", written and performed by Harry Stewart. Stewart was actually a homeless guy that Sheen found and put in the movie. He disappeared before signing a distribution release on the song and it was never released except embedded in the soundtrack of the movie itself. One of the most beautiful songs ever written and it is not available anywhere.
The other involves the movie "Fast Times At Ridgemont High." There is one scene filmed at the mall with "So Much In Love" by Timothy B. Schmit. The song makes the scene. Without it, the scene falls flat and actually changes the tone of the movie from that point onward. When it was released on DVD, the producers could not secure the rights and needed to replace it. Bad choice.

It's summer time now so beach music is always popular...there is a Christian singer named Luther Barnes who's song "You keep on Blessing Me" sounds like beach music.
It jams, no doubt..

However, that is actually pulled from the soundtrack along with all the dialogue and foley artist adds. I need a clean copy of the original master tape without the integration into the movie.

If you haven't heard it - you should be able to look it up on the net. You really should hear it. It is, if I say so myself, better than the original. I fell in love.
This piece was remade for the season finale of Season 3 on Battle Star Galictica (sci-fi) which I find to be better than the original in MANY ways.
Listening to some old Paul Oakenfold while I type this up LOL
